OOC: This was a long time in coming. I’ve been meaning to give the Sutton family it’s prestige again despite former President Sutton’s death a while ago.

IC: In the Credonian FBI headquarters, FBI director Alexander Nicolas Sutton sits in his office pondering hard over some things on his mind. He is a bit anxious and antsy when he is abruptly interrupted out of his state of concentration as his secretary knocks on the door twice before entering.

“Sorry to disturb you sir. The CIA Director is here to see you” she says.

He stares at her, puzzled.

“What the hell is he doing here…send him in” he replies, surprised.

The secretary heads back to her desk and a tall man wearing a black suit walks a few steps into the room.

“hello Jim.”

“Alex” Jim nods.

“Please have a seat” Alex says as he motions him to sit.

Jim closes the door behind him and takes a seat in the comfortable black cushioned chair. A moment passes before another word is spoken.

“So how are our plans coming along Jim?”

“Perfectly. We have backing from the entire military. The troops currently in the capital are ready to seize the capital building when congress begins its session tomorrow. President Smith will resign from office once she is alerted that congress has been stripped of its powers. Also, secret polls done on citizens show an unprecedented 99% approval of the switch from a democratic republic government to a democratic dictatorship type government. Those in opposition have been detained for the time being so that they don’t alert congress. Tomorrow all you have to do is go to the capital building and declare yourself the dictator of Credonia.”

“Perfect!. If my father were alive, he’d be so proud of me. Credonia will regain its prestige and honor in the world, and we’ll kick some terrorist ass in the process!!” Alex replies.

“Hawhawhaw *cough* *cough* Yea, you better get em. You don’t want to come off looking like Lauren, weak on terrorism.”

“Yea. I wonder why the hell a woman was elected president to replace my dad in the first place.”

“Well it doesn’t matter much anymore. She’s stepping down tomorrow anyway. Anyway, that’s all I stopped over to tell you. I’ll leave you and your ego alone now” Jim says he as he stands up, followed by Alex.

“haha, thanks”

“Yup, and the next time I see you, you will be dictator of Credonia. Have fun!!” Jim replies as he opens the door and walks out.

The door closes and Alex chuckles and grins while he things of the events to happen the next day.

The next day at 10:30 on the dot, a large special forces team from the 43rd Marine Division along with tanks and APC’s pull up onto federal property and surround the capital building, where a session of congress has just been called to order. Within minutes, the rather large special forces team of about 125 men storm the capital building. Capital building security attempt to fore upon the soldiers but they are taken totally by surprise and are unable to. The guards who manage to draw their handguns are quickly disabled as the soldiers shoot them with less than lethal rounds.

After 30 minutes of seizing the building, Alexander pulls up to the capital building. As he steps out, he is swarmed by the large mob of reporters and camera’s that has assembled to find out what’s going on. A group of about 5 marines armed with grenades and M16’s push and throw the reporters aside and escort Alex into the building and up to the room where congress has been held down by the special forces. He enters the deafly silent chamber and heads for the podium.

"Good morning members of convgress. I am pretty sure you all are wondering what's going on. Well, to put it bluntly, from this point forward, Congress no longer has powers to influence the governemt. From this point forward, i shall be considered as Supreme Dictator of a new democratic Credonia. The new Credonia will be molded into what my father Kaimoni Sutton wanted it to become. Under one absolute power, but the people would retain all of their freedoms. The dictator would rule justly, swiftly, smartly, and compassionately. I will turn Credonia into what my father invisioned. It has been a long time in coming, and now the day is here for me to take my rightful place as head of this wonderful and most powerful nation.

Now, all congresspersons in this room will be stripped of their congressional powers the second they leave this room, which will be shortly. You will not be arrested or anything. You will be taken back to your homes via helicopter and motorcade transport. Congresspersons who are under secret service protection may keep that protection for life. I will be selecting a few to serve on my board of advisors which will primarily be composed of military officials and intelligence officers. That is all for now. Thank you."

He steps from the podium. The room remains silent as the members of congress try to digest what is going on. Eyes follow Alex as he leaves the chamber and heads back for his motorcade. When he is safely away, helicopters and limousines pull up to the capital building. The congressional members are released and they all begin their transport home or to get any belongings in the city they have before they head home.

After an hour, Alexander, now Supreme Dictator of Credonia settles into the Presidential Palace and his newly selected board of advisors brief him on the state of the nation. Outside, troops, tanks, and APC's keep guard of the Presidential Palace.

Cousin Eddie congratulates Alex Sutton on such a smooth transfer of power. It is good to see that the true ruler of the country has taken the place that is rightfully his.

However, some kick-back from civilians should be expected. As a result, we would like to offer Credonia a gift. We have recently developed a new non=lethal weapon that uses sound. The weapon can cause symptoms from nausea to loss of bodily control in the victim. It might be useful for apprehending any revolutionaries that may or may not appear without harming your own citizens. We would also like it to be considered as a sign of a possible future alliance.

The Republic of Ozymandias IV regrets to see that Credonia's new ruler seems to have forgotten the principles of his famous father and we hope to see our long-time ally return to its democratic foundation once Credonia's War on Terrorism is concluded.

The Republic will still honor all existing treaties between our two nations but for the moment, we are witholding our formal recognition of the regime change.

Within the ornate, high walls of the embassy compound, the ambassador prepares to make a statement. The large middle aged man stands at a hastily prepared lectern at the top of the grand marble steps, flanked by white stone columns. Either side of the large double doors leading to the entrance hall, two gold tasseled flags are positioned on brass poles. Standing next to each of them, there are two guards in Army dress blues with two more at the base of the steps.

"Today I was made aware of the events at the Capitol building and having communicated with my government I can give our wholehearted support for this peaceful power transition. In recent days we have been somewhat dissappointed in Credonia's President because of his refusal to effectively challenge terrorists that threaten our citizens. Now we forsee that Credonia will return to prosperity and I look forward to having dealings with President Alexander Sutton. Having adopted a politicial situation more similar to that of our nation, no doubt brings us closer and we will be expecting Credonia to assist us in the war on terror, such as in Gabon where political stability is necessary to prevent a resurgence in terror activities. That is all I wish to say at this moment in time, thank you very much."

General Taylor, head of MIE (Military Intelligence External), sat in his office on the top follow, looking over government square. He had just read through information about a military coup in Credonia. He had already called up his direactor of operations, Colonel Williams, from the operations room and was running possible plans through his head.

Wintress wanted a military base in the area, the PM had made this clear to him. With this coup however, wintrees could gain so much more power in the region if they could implant an intelligence officer in their higher governerment. They now had that chance with the current situation.

They had to somehow get their agent into the inner circle....

PM: well i never, arrange my transport, were going on a visit, to congradulate the new dictator, though personally i would have shot congress but ah well what ever your taste is......

"Sir... Credonia..." A lieutenant stands inside the Towers of babel, alongside president Raslin. Raslin was very aged by this time, but he was still as sharp as ever. "Sir... Credonia has begun a revolution of some sort..." The lieutenant said, being stopped by raslin.

Raslin stood there for a few moments, racking his brain to try and remember colodia. "Ohh, yes... Thats right... I think Executive order 9066 would be in order here... "Raslin said, as the lieutenants face literally brightened. "Yes sir!" he said, starting towards the hall.

Chellian military forces began to assemble. A large merchant marine had assembled, with 40 ships able to carry 800 troops(As well as defensive armaments), and about 30 escort ships(typical for the merchant marine). The move wasn't hailed as military however. These forces were moving under the pretense of an anonymous third party trade deal.

No chellians were asking what they were, they knew better than to ask those types of questions. The merchant marine was very well armed, top of the line chellian equipment, but they werent under official chellian control. They just moved their cargo where it needed to go, and made sure it arrived safely.

All the forces were aware, however, of what was about to happen. They were going to help with Executive order 9066. They were to infiltrate the country, and try to kill as many revolutionaries and non-loyal military officials as possible. But they had to arrive first, and they were headed there now.

OOC:Im leaving this open, so you can go where you want with it. The chellians are gonna head towards your general direction, but when they get close set their heading so they will arrive close to the corner of your territorial waters. Then they plan to drive directly inward to land, so the men can unload off of the ships (32k men).

Credonia, I rather enjoyed it when you were a republic, but now that your a dictatorship, you are elligible to join the Empire of the Milky Way . The EMW is an alliance between empires, kingdoms, and dictatorships bent on one thing, gaining more space. We are not cruel like you picture us, we want to kill terrorists and restore order too, but we use other methods, and when we're done with a nation, the land is ours!

Statement From Alexander Sutton

At this point in time and with the Credonian military already mobilized for war, there is no need for outside influence. We are settling in and things are running smoothly at this time. We do not wish to kill any person that tries to oppose the new Sutton regime, we will deal with them accordingly. We are a just regime and will act according to proper civilized morals so long as we arent pressued into taking military action.

At this point in time, i would like to thank our allies for acknowledging this new regime. Certainly times are changing, and as the times change, so must the governments of nations to act according to whats going on in the world whether it be in the form of a revolution, or a new president. As dictator of Credonia,i pledge to aggressively pursue our goals in tackling terrorist nations, organizations, nations that harbor terrorist, and nations that support terrorists in anyway. There will be a massive influx of military activities within Credonia to facilitate our plans and back up this statement.

We will, however, remain in most ways democratic. I do not plan on ruling like an absolute dictator nor was it ever my intention. My main intention was to take over complete control of the nation including the military to use it as i see fit, or use it in a manner that best suits the needs of the citizens. Thank you.

Credonia will continue to honor the alliances it has made, however, due to the tough new stance that the Sutton regime takes on terrorism, all peace treaties signed this past week with terrorist nations such as HLF (OOC: i need not name anymore, everyone knows who they are) are no longer in effect with this regime. We will crack down on terrorism, strenghthen internal and external intellegence, and we will do all in our power to bring them to justice while keeping our citizens and our allies safe.

Kisnesia is nervous about the regime change, but is glad that it invloved very little bloodshed. We will withold recognition of the new government for the time being.

We need not skew the results. If we were truly an evil administration, we would have made drastic changes and we would have most likely killed members of congress. As i stated, my goal is not here to be corrupt and rule the world. My intention is to carry out the Sutton legacy and return Credonia to its greatness while keeping the peace amongst the citizens in the process. My idea is that in order for a country to run efficiently, there needs to be agreement on many issues by multiple factions, and this limits what can be done or even what is allowable, therefore i took out one of the major governing bodies that causes the most problems in decision making when it comes down to micromanaging certain government issues, and i did state that no freedoms would be infringed upon. We are still democratic, but under the head of one person. That does not mean that my "administration" is evil as i have stated multiple times.
