Parlim incorporates a ship in it's navy that uses the hydrofoil system. It is highly useful for Coast Guard duties, as it can reach speed exceeding 40 knots. It was used by the US Navy, but has since been decomissioned. Parlim has taken the design, and updated it, making it fit for near any use.

A simple scheme of the submerged base:
http://siouxlandpaintball.com/jack2/underwater-base.jpg
A fully functional underwater bade for depths up to 1000 metre. The base can support a crew of 30 men for 2 months and they can repair submarines. The underwater dock is perfect for minor reperations and can be dragged to a spot by a normal ship. It can serve as a stationair attack base when missle silos are attached to it. Costs: $1 billion US
A simple scheme of the Anti Ship Unit:
http://siouxlandpaintball.com/jack2/anti-ship-sub.jpg
The anti ship unit is a very stealthy and advanced piece of military hardware because of it's extreme maximum depth. The torpedoes fired from the vertical tubes can penetrate the thickest hulls and sinking ship is guaranteed. The sub is also protected against other subs with 4 normal torpedo tubes. In the anti ship missle tubes normal, non nuclear missles can also be fired. Because of the armour against the water pressure only 20 men can aboard at a time. The size is small enough to be repaired in the submerged base named above. Price per ASU is open for discussion.
I bielive this would be somthing your interested in?

Das Uber Deutschland is proud to announce its newest advancement in naval technology, the Land Sturm class naval flagship. This ship is capable of land support with its heavy artillery cannons, as well as air support with its wing of 65 aircraft. Missile systems include 150 cruise missile tubes and four tactical nuclear missile tubes. Defensive missile systems include sea sparrow missile systems, sea RAM missile systems, and SAM sites. Propulsion for this craft comes from four separate nuclear reactors. Backup Diesel generators can run all electrical systems on the vessel in the case of total reactor failure or shutdown. This ship has a fully capable foreign relations, intelligence, and communications center with satellite broadcasting capability. Separate from the aforementioned area is the ship central command and navigation. Since this is a flagship, naturally, it is massive and awe inspiring in stature, firepower, and defensibility. With a complimenting naval fleet, this flagship is capable of launching massive offensive strikes by both heavy artillery and air. It is also capable of hosting foreign nations in negotiations and conferences.

NO. What purpose do yours serve? are they cruisers, missile boats, frigates? Corvetts?
Usually it serves the purpose of a coast guard ship, but it can serve the role of a light frigate or scout in naval combat.

For our second entry to the competition, we give you our first naval surface ship. We may not be experienced, but we have taken 'stuff' from other countries technicians, who have helped with this project. We are glad it has been completed, as it has been hard work. But now, we advance, and give you this new ship.
We release to you, our new Coastal Bombardment Ship, and Heavy Cruiser.
ГАРПУН “Harpoon” Class Battleship
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/502999/sshot011.JPG
Design
This ship was designed to be a strong, large and fast battleship. We feel proud, on high we have accomplished all these goals, and some more. For the strong part, the ship had to be well armed, and for that it had to be large. The fast part was the most difficult, and there was only one way it could be accomplished.
Kazakhstania’s first nuclear reactor was slammed in. A powerful engine, identical to the one on a Nimitz Aircraft Carrier. On the carrier there are two, and it is the same here. The two engines can propel this ship to over 45 knots on level sea’s, more with a tailwind. This is quite an accomplishment, gathering that this ship has a 67,000-ton displacement. That’s more than an Iowa Battleship, which is larger.
To accommodate the large components, the ship had to be large, very large. At 130 feet wide, and 856 feet in length. As high as a 12-story building, it’s very, very big. Its armour is enough to stop any 16” shell in existence, and most missiles such as Harpoon and Tomahawk. Big, oh so big. :D
The superstructure is low and well armoured, to stop 14” shells. In it, everything is found. There are weapons control, the bridge, all communications etc. Under the deck, the crew’s quarters are found. The weapons stores are here as well, under a deck of steel 5 inches thick. The deck can take most bomb blasts, and shells up to 14” thick.
There are bulkheads every 40 feet, and each ‘cell can be sealed off. The weapon’s stores and space under the guns are all sealed off in bombproof containers. The ship is incredibly well armoured, and its rivets are very, very strong. So, the very well armoured and defended piece was easy then.
Systems
There are many, many systems on this boat. It is electronically advanced, and most things are computerized. This allows for a crew of a little over 900. Indeed, the turrets are crewless and aimed by a computer, as are most of the weapons. All the systems are detailed here, which of there are many.
The radar’s are in plentiful supply. There are 3, and one sonar. The first detailed, is the KZ-1 Long Range Anti Aircraft Radar, for the SA-20 SAM Missiles. The search range for this radar is 400km, and the data managed is taken in by the Supercomputer, which is the size of a room. It can take in over 200 aerial targets at once, including an F-117 Nighthawk from 60km. It is very powerful, basically a ground based AWAC’s.
The KZ-2 Surface Scan Radar is also very powerful. Angled down 0.07 degrees, it can scan targets up to 250km away. It can detect a stealth boat at 50km, and again can pass targets to the weapon control computer, as the KZ-1 can also do. The supercomputer deals with it, and can take in over 140 surface contacts. Also, there are various passive short-range detectors.
There are 6 sonar devices, which are not that good. They are straight off a Perry Class Destroyer, and can detect submarines from a great distance, and passes the info to the weapons computer. The weapons computer does what it says. It takes in targets positions, and automatically chooses the best weapon depending on the circumstances. It can be manually done, and must be monitors for IFF decisions.
There is also an Identification program, which labels the craft for identification.
A varied version of JTIDS is used. In this version, it takes info straight from the computers and configures it. It automatically passes it around info straight from the sensors, to the computers and all computers around the ship. It then passes the info around to all sources that are detailed by the person manning it. But there is one glorious thing about this new JTIDS. It takes in info from outside sources, and communicates ‘em to the weapon computer, for firing. This greatly helps for shore targeting and the like.
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/502999/JTIDS.JPG
Weaponry
There is not much to say about the weapons, minus stats. It is a heavily armed ship, and here they are.
2 Triple Barrel 20" ETC Cannons
1 Single Barrelled 10" ETC Cannon
4 Quad Barreled Harpoon Missile Launchers
16 VLS Cells
6 AK-630/Igla CIWS Systems
2 40mm Mini-ETC AA Flak Guns
12 AAM-3F SAM Missiles
2 ASW Mortar Launchers
8 Torpedo Launchers
6 ASW Depth Charge Launchers
As you can see, it is heavily armed. The turrets are crewless, in fact, everything is. We could not, unfortunately, fit any helicopters on, though this may be a later upgrade.

Kazakhstania has felt the urging need to create a navy for itself. Having only created one of the worlds most powerful and modern Battleships, the Harpoon Class of which we have 2, and crafted one of the worlds first armed Mini-subs, the Zulu Class, of which we have a full fleet of 20. We are proud of how we have accomplished all these working vessels and sold them on the market, and plan to continue with our production.
So, in starting our navy we have created a brand new Missile Frigate. We have started large, and now are getting smaller. Market research has found the world’s nations are not getting enough Frigates in their fleets, and we are proud to have produced a new destroyer to compete in the market, and convince the world market to buy more of these necessary products. So, we announce to you, the Lance Class Frigate.
Lance Class Missile Frigate
http://homepage.tinet.ie/~steven/images/lafayette1.jpg
Design
The Lance Class has been designed to lead the way in the flood of next generation ships. We have noticed the large numbers of stealth ships, and thought we should create our own, to keep up in the modern battlefield. Therefore we had to create our own stealth Frigate. There are numerous limitations to the stealth ship, but we have driven round these, with a number of ingenious ideas.
Most of the weapons on the ship are internal, and this brings some limitations to the ship’s weapons load. The design is made up of constantly changing surfaces, to preserve stealth. The fabric on the outside is made of Radar Absorbing Material, to soak up radar. Also, the metal the ship is made of is not in fact metal. It is in fact Plastic and Fibres, coated in a highly dense Epoxy-Resin Honeycomb. This is in fact stronger than steel, titanium, and most other metals for ship armour.
The sectors on the ship are divided up in small waterproof fronts, which can be sealed off in the event of fire or water leakage. The engine is a Hydrogen Engine, which produces little heat and does not give off exhaust. This lowers the infrared output to, well, nothing. The Fibre and Epoxy Resin soak up any heat produced. The material of the armour is actually, amazingly, non magnetic. This means there are few magnetic sensors that can pick it up.
Systems
The systems on this ship are identical to those on the Harpoon Class. They are, however, electronically hardened to reduce the static given. Here:
There are many, many systems on this boat. It is electronically advanced, and most things are computerized. This allows for a crew of a little over 900. Indeed, the turrets are crewless and aimed by a computer, as are most of the weapons. All the systems are detailed here, which of there are many.
The radar on this ship is new. It is a KZ-4 Ultra Power Radar. With a huge range of 250nm and a height max of 80,000 feet, it is rumoured to have detected an Aurora on the atmosphere. Amazing. Also, there are the KZ-6,7 and 8 sensors. These are high power Infrared, Laser and Optical Sensors. Also, there is a powerful KZ-112 Sonar, which can detect subs such as the Orion, at 80nm. It is an active and passive sonar device.
Weaponry
Here, is a weaponry list:
Single 110mm Electro Thermal Chemical Cannon with 150 round Magazine.
Two Quad SAAM-3F Surface to Air Missiles
Four Quad Celled Harpoon Surface to Surface Missiles
Two AK-630/IGLA-SKZ CIW Systems
One Pop Up ASROC Mk-46 ASW Torpedo Launcher
Twelve Depth Charges
Four Anti Submarine Mortars
One Hangar
The 110mm ETC Cannon is fed by 10 rotating magazines in a pass forward belt. The Quad SAM’s are in the weapons hold in the middle of the ship, behind two slide back doors. The Harpoon Missiles share the same technique as the SAM’s, and the CIWS systems are in a shielded stealth container on deck. The pop up ASROC launcher is on a lift under deck in front of the main gun, and lifts up through a slide back door on use. The depth charges are at the rear, under the hanger, and are pushed forward through a rear door. The ASW Mortars are also in pup up lift cells. The hangar can hold one Medium sized Helicopter, such as a SH-60, KA-64 or Merlin.
All the weapons are in very, very stealthy containers. Also included are Six Anti Missile Lasers with a range of 1,250 metres each. Between the CIWS systems and Lasers, almost no missiles can get through. Now, stats:

Kazakhstania has not got a navy. It has got 5 submarines, but they have not arrived yet. We have not even purchased a LCAC. Still, we have tried really hard to get these two projects done by the end on today. We have got them here, and hope you like 'em.
Zulu Class Mini-Sub
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/report/2001/11image-sub.gif
Design
Designed to be a small armed minisub, some things had to be taken into consideration. First, it had to be small, yet fast. So, we took that into mind. Also, it had to be armed, with torpedo tubes. Easily do-able, we thought. Also, it mus thvae decent electronics and surveillance systems. So, we did it.
The whole body is basically a scaled down seawolf. It is quarter size, and still holds the seawolfs shape. Indeed, when berther on the seawolf they look like father and son. We used this heavily, in building, and utilised 5 models. The whole thing can dive to 2,600 metres, due to ultra strength all around.
To gain speed, we put in a scaled down Kilo Class engine. It turns a 6 bladed propellor, and is diesel electric. It could be recharged mid voyage, and powers everything ont he boat, including electronics. It has power for 100 miles of sailing at full speed (30 knots) unloaded.
But, 55 knots was not achieved, especially not with 8 torpedoes. So, we came up with something brilliant. We basically took a torpedo engine, and tripled the size. Then, we enlargened the bottom of the boat, and slammed the engine of the largened torpedo in. Hatches were placed at the front and back, and the whole thing was placed in a watertight container. And voila!, intstant super cavitating minisub. The hatches opened when it was activated, and a top speed of 61 knots fully loaded was achieved.
Now, the tubes would be easy. The front of the boat was lentghened. 4 tubes were put into the front for horizontal firing of full scale torpedoes, and 4 vertical tubes were added for firing upwards of full scale modified Mk 46 Torpedoes. Both work just like the real thing, so no need explaining.
It is a fairly basic outer design, and serves its purpose well. We hope you like.
Systems
There are several systems on the boat. The first are the outer surveylance (sp?) systems. These include 2 camera's, mounted on the nose and middle, and several searchlights. Also, thermal and infrared imagers are used on the camera's. These allow for the bottom of the ocean to be scanned, and wrecks like the Titanic.
The sonar involved is again a mini version of that on the Seawolf. There are two, passive and active, both powerful to ranges of 10 miles. They can detect other subs and surface ships, and are great at tracking.
The targetting systems are fairly basic. They allow for target recongition, torpedo homing and detection. They can be monitored by one Sonarman. We, however, recommend 1 for sonar watch and 2 for the torpedoes.
Weaponary
There are 8 tubes, 4 vertical and 4 horizontal. The level ones cn be reloaded, whereas the vertical ones need to be in port for that. They are all fired using compressed air, and can take a variety of torpedoes. There are no other arms carried.
We hope you like, or at least I have entered. Thankyou.

Mongoose MK II
http://www.defense-update.com/images/skjold-front.jpg
The ship's configuration uses an Air Cushion Catamaran (ACC) design, which is an advanced variant of Surface Effect Ship (SES) technology. The ACC is based on a catamaran hull with an air cushion between the hulls and has been successfully proven with the Norwegian Oksoy class minehunters and minesweepers which entered service in 1994. The low area of wetted surface of the hulls gives an improved level of shock resistance and significantly reduced wave resistance compared to that of a conventional displaced or semi-displaced hull configuration.
The elevated position of the magnetic components reduces the magnetic signature. The combination of the twin hull and water jet propulsion provides very high and very responsive manoeuvrability. Vital systems have been duplicated for enhanced survivability and the ship remains operational with one engine room set lost.
The low draft of 0.9m on cushion gives an advantage of access to shallow coastal waters and lower vulnerability to impact against surface or tethered mines or other debris.
The hull is of composite construction. The hulls are laminated inside and outside with fibre reinforced plastic composed of glass fibre and carbon laminates bound with vinyl ester and polyester resin. A scrimp manufacturing process is used in construction, involving vacuum assisted resin injection. Carbon fibre and carbon loaded materials have been selected for the beams, mast and supporting structures, which need high tensile strength, for example the support structures for the gun and the electro-optical and radar weapon director.
Radar absorbent materials have been used in the load bearing structures over large areas of the ship. This strategy leads to significant weight saving compared to conventional construction techniques of applying RAM cladding to the external surfaces. The ship's profile has a faceted appearance with no right angle structures and few orientations of reflective panels. Doors and hatches are flush with the surfaces and the windows are flush without visible coaming (edge of window aperture) and are fitted with radar reflective screens.
The ship is armed with eight Kongsberg NSM (Nye Sjoemaals Missiler or Norwegian Strike Missile) anti-ship missiles, which have been developed for the Skjold class ships and for the Fritjof Nansen Frigates. The NSM missile is equipped with an imaging infrared seeker and has a range in excess of 150km.
The ship's short-range surface-to-air missile is the infrared-guided MBDA Mistral in a portable configuration. A twin launcher will be deployed on the deck or on a land site. The missile is armed with a 3kg warhead and has a target range of 4km.
The ship's gun, for deployment against aircraft and other vessels, is the Oto Melara 76mm Super Rapid. The gun has a burst-firing rate of 120rpm, firing 6kg shells to a range of 16km.
The main propulsion is by waterjet, which gives a very shallow draught and extraordinary maneuvering capabilities. The waterjets are normally driven by gas turbines but may also be driven by small diesel engines in order to reduce infrared signature. The waterjet nozzles can be moved independently to manoeuvre the Mongoose MK II sideways without side propellers or bow propellers. The Mongoose MK II retains its ability to turn through very sharp angles even at high speed.
The prototype has two Rolls Royce Allison 571KF gas turbine engines, each rated at 6,000kW (8,160hp), driving two Kamewa water jets. These provide a maximum speed of more than 100km/h (55 knots). The new series of Mongoose MK II class ships is being fitted with four gas turbines from Pratt & Whitney, two ST18 rated at 2kW x 4,000kW and two ST 40 rated at 2kW x 2,000kW, driving the two Kamewa water jets. There are two auxiliary engines, MTU 6R 183 TE52 rated at 275kW and two manoeuvring engines MTU 6R TE92 rated at 3,700kW.
Two MTU 12V TE92 lift fan engines, rated at 735kW, drive the air into the air cushion between the hulls. A computer controlled ride control system controls the air cushion at a 0.5m water column pressure.

Dyelli Beybi
16-02-2004, 13:36
Dyelli Beybi is particularly pround of the "Lord Fisher" Class of Battleship. Currently there is one afloat, it being the Flagship of the Dyelli Beybian Navy.
The Lord Fisher was created with the goal of being able to provide a fast moving, heavy bombardment and raiding vessel with the capability of being used in a Fleet to Fleet engagement if necessary. It was decided to be a resounding success.
Total Displacement: 88,490 Tons
Length: 380 Metres (1247 Feet)
Beam: 48 Metres (157 Feet)
Draft: 9.70 Metres (32 Feet)
Freeboard: 6.30 Metres (21 Feet)
There are also 30 Horizontal Bulkheads and 2 Longitudinal Bulkheads, greatly compartmentalising the ship and meaning that minimal damage will be sustained should a hull breach occur. Furthermore, 'Sandwich' style torpedo bulges have been installed to minimise the effect of such weapons.
A ram has been fitted to the bow to allow the Lord Fisher to use it's immense size to tear enemy shiping in half should a battle be fought close enough.
The Superstructure is lightly constructed and rises 4 decks above the main deck. It is however moderately heavily armoured (detailed later). The Bridge rises a further 2 decks bringing the total height of the superstructure to 8 metres ( 26 Feet). Above the bridge is a 20 metre (66 Feet) tall Pagoda Mast on which all radars and targeters are arranged.
Engines: 8 x Mitsubishi Power Turbine, powering 6 screws, two of which are angled outwards allowing the ship to turn more sharply. The exhaust from these funnels is trunked into 5 funnels. They provide a total of 380,000 HP at the screws.
The Ship has capacity for 160 hours of fuel (5,376 Tons of fuel oil).
Main Armament: 4 x Mk III III/16" 45c turrets. Providing a total of 12 16" guns. In the current configuration each gun is capable of firing 2 RPM (6 RPM per turret). Four magazines are placed, two above the forward engines (the engines run the length of the ship) and two between the aft engines, each holding 60 shells.
Secondary Armament: 10 x II/4" 45 c Mk XVI cannons. These cannons are fixed directly to the deck, although a fibre glass turret strucutre has been erected over them. These guns are capable of 40 rpm. They are positioned 5 to either side of the super structure and are fed from 2 seperate magazines (one for each side), each holding 2,000 rounds of ammunition.
CIWS: 10 50mm ADGM Guns are positioned, 2 near the front turret, two near the 3rd turret and six above the super structure. They provide cover against incoming missiles, planes as well as proving useful against unarmoured vessels.
Spar Torpedoes Spar torpedoes have been fitted to facilitate ramming.
Missiles: 6 THV1 Anti Shipping Missiles are fixed on the super structure, each in an independent launcher. These are the standard Dyelli Beybian anti-shipping missile.
4 Sea Dart Launchers are also affixed to the superstructure. Each launcher is capable of firing two of these SAM missiles per minute. In all, 80 Sea Dart missiles are housed within the top deck of the super structure.
Counter Measures: The ship carries 8 Sea Gnat Chaff dispensers as well as a full ECM suite. A 'Softblade' system has also been installed to mask the engine noise from passive sonar.
Radars, Sonar, Targeters and other Misc. Electronics: Sky Watch, LW08, Type 1030, 4x Eggcup Rangefinder, IOWA Guidance System, Sunvisor, Hawk Screech, USSR 10P, USSR 3, 2x Highpole A IFF, Shotdome GPS, C.E.C. Combat Analysis.
Note: The prescence of 'Sunvisor' allows for the 4" cannons to provide a very effective AA defence, even against modern jet fighters.
Armour: 500 mm (19.7") Belt
200 mm (7.9") Remainder of Hull
300 mm (11.8") Deck
400 mm (15.7") Bridge
300 mm (11.8") Superstructure Roof
100 mm (3.9") Superstructure
300 mm (11.8") Frontal Primary Magazines
300 mm (11.8") Primary Hoists
300 mm (11.8") Secondary Magazines
300 mm (11.8") Secondary Hoists
Note: The rear primary magazines are positioned between two engines and as such further armour was deemed unecessary.
As such the Lord Fisher is the most heavily armoured ship known to Dyelli Beybi.
Speed: Max: 46.85 kts. At this speed, the ram causes the bow to dip. It is not recommended the ship travel at above 40 knotts for extended periods of time.
Cruising: 36.01 knotts. This speed is achieved on 4 screws.
In excess to this, facilities have been installed to disconnect the alternator (switch off all electronics), increasing the speed of the vessel markedly. This proceedure has never been tested.
Cost: $5.6 Billion. Bargaining welcome.
Estimated time of construction:10 RL days.
(OOC)Tomorrow I will also post up the 'Goeben' Class of Arctic conditions Battle Cruiser...provided you have some money left to spend.

This vessel is designed for littoral warfare and is capable of withstanding shore fire from missiles and Artillery. This ship also incorporates stealt features into its design and on radar appears to be about the size of a medium size fishing boat. This vessel is also designed for task force flagship, Fleet air defense and assaulting beaches. This vessel is also good as an ASW asset as well as ASuW.

Well I have a few things that might suit your needs.
The Twin Towers class Coastal Patrol Boat provides a very effective guard against enemy shipping as well as providing a missile defense platform as it can be loaded with LEAP missiles.
The Shield class submarine is an advanced design based off the new German U-214. It uses fuel cell technology and is relatively silent, the perfect coastal defense weapon.
The Spectre and Scorpion class corvettes are also excellent choices for defense of a small harbor and what not.
The Crow class SSBN is a very sophisticated design. It is basically all the capabilities of the NSSN and Seawolf with the Ohio.
The Hades class SSN is meant to protect the Crow and shares the same capabilities without the SLBM capability.
Specifications on all systems can be found either here on Nation States (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=110584) or here on my website (http://www.theforsakenoutlaw.com/Nation-States/export.htm).
