The 21st century has started, and after 20 years of development, Farfetched Prospect has completed its Maglev train project. Several 100 kilometers of track are now in operation between the major cities of Pretoria, Mackenzie and Prospect City.

This new system has boosted the economy extensivly with its high payload, low power consumption and high speed.

Each day millions travel with this system and its starting to take controll of the extreme traffic problem we had before.

As result of this project we decided (as is our business nature) to sell this tecnology abroad.

Our Government is very interested in this new train, we wish to upgrade our industrial lines first. This will be 1000km of track to be upgraded from our old style.

This should come to $600,000,000. If we are satisfied, which I am sure we will be, then when we come to upgrading the passenger lines, we will come back to Farfetched prospect.

The Theocracy of Alex-Sandria is developing a rival project.

Naturally, as befits a country without free press, the general populace are happy with the project's progress.

But between you and me, its going very badly.

Will you consider an exchange of deactivated AK-47s for technical information on the wheel-housings of the new vehicles?

I am sure that if your talking about wheel-housing that your project is completly differen't, our train track is basicly a giant linear-railgun that uses magnetic levitation to make the train float several centimeters above the track, no wheels are involved.

$600,000,000 has been wired.

It is a small price to pay for the potential ecanomic benefits. Also, how much would the trains and carriges be?

The Republic of Ancient and Holy Terra would like to purchase 1000km of track for this revolutionary system. The total price comes to 1,400,000,000. Thank you, the money has been wired to a central location awaiting confirmation of our order.

(ooc: I've been on the Maglev train in Shanghai. It goes between the airport and this station that's on the outskirts of the city. It's really cool, you go ridiculously fast. When it turns, the train actually has to bank...it kinda feels like flying on a jetliner. :?)
