A group of terrorists have taken over Impress Airways flight 204, headed from ViZion City, ViZion, to Shelbin, Jarridia. The flight was packed full, holding 832 passengers, 523 of them under the age of 18. There were two high school sports teams, one band, two school-trips, and many other child and teen-related trips, not to leave out that, being break, many students are flighting with their parents and friends.

Impress Airways, which is a low-fare, international airline, has stated that there are people not just from ViZion and Jarridia, but from multiple nations. The plane being used is a foreign-build A-x-2500, which can stay in the air without refueling for 53 and a half hours. We have tankers ready incase they are needed to refuel the plane.

We ask the terrorists who did this to come forth (that is, anyone can claim this... if you want to, come forth and claim responsibility), and we ask that nations identify the passengers they have on this plane. Let us work on stopping this!

"Traffic control, roger that." The ISA officer lowered his headset. "No go. The plane's loaded with civilians, and they got our balls in a vice."

"Damn." Sub-Director Allens stated, watching the plane on the satellite screen. "It will cross into our airspace in four hours. It had better be fixed by then."

Across the room, another officer held up a phone. "We've got ViZion on the line, sir!"

Allens grabbed the phone. "This is Allens. Yeah, it's the plane. We've got three civillians aboard the flight, and we don't want anything to happen to them. Do you have any plans so far?" there was a pause. "Listen, we're under a lot of pressure. If that plane enters our airspace, we're going to hit it with a PJ assault, plane to plane. Please, fix it by then. Alright. Good luck."

Allens hung up the phone and turned back to the radar. "Good luck."

"ViZion control to Impress Airways flight 204, can you give us status?" There was no reply. "ViZion to Impress Airways flight 204, do you copy?" Still no answer. "Damn. They've taken it over."

Dave Lohan was onboard the plane, listening to his CD player, when he saw two men in front of him jump up, screaming. He jerked his headphones off, and listened to the men, who pulled out small guns out of their pockets, and waved them around, constantly yelling. Dave was a member of the Sniper Country National High School Basketball Team, which had just had a tournament in ViZion, although they had been beaten. Dave reached in his bag as quickly as possible, and grabbed his cell phone, just as one of the hijackers yanked him out of his seat and threw him onto the floor. He slid his phone into his pants pocket, as another person was thrown on top of him, and rolled off. Dave didn't know what to do, he was only a basketball player.

Victor Intercepter Jet's hurried into the air. They had a mission: Get to the plane, and keep up with it. If anything went wrong, they were to shoot it down.

"ViZion Control, this is Tyrina Transportation Center. We have send eight of out VIJ's to keep up with the plane, watch it, and if required, shoot it down.

"That, of course, is our last resort. We hope this can be straightened out without that."

"Sir, our best intelligence sources say that terrorists have taken over an airplane full of kids. they will cross our airspace briefly in one hour, as they pass over the narrowest point of our nation in the south." replied the Attache.
Though they were in a comfortable office with a pleasent atmopshere in the party outside, the temeprature was sub-zero in the room.
"Well, apart from escort, what can we do? what do we want to do? It's not really our problem, is it?" said the amabassdor sneeringly.
"Sir, I wonder if you remember Vasili Domyoi.........."
"The Guy who stole our plans for a micro-bomb, and used the only prototype we had to destroy the lab it was made in? what about him?"
"He's aboard that plane. we think he's one of the ringleaders."
"Holy Mother........" swore the Ambassador.
"Get me on the phone to Vizion Immediately."

We believe that one of the men who hijacked that plane is Vasili Domyoi, a known and ruthless criminal here in Vexia. He's an expert in demolitions, and has access to micro-explosives, which he regrettably managed to steal from us. We are sending you his complete profile via FAX now. We hope it may be of some use."

While the risk of the hijackers pulling off a September 11th-style attack exists, that was a highly unconventional attack and this hijacking is unlikely to be a similar incident - therefore we agree that any attempts to shoot it down without just cause would be totally and horrifically wrong.

And, the fighter converage was from a few months ago, I'm just reviving this RP now since it never was finished...

We are hoping that they wont, though. And, we do not have communication with the plane... they cut in I believe in the char RP version (check first post, links you to that... could use more passengers)

It is currently over the Mediterranean Sea, as it left ViZion City nearly an hour and a half ago.

Yes. It is heading for Jarridia (located in Texas)... their capitol to be more exact. It will be a long flight for them. But, we do not know, now that the terrorists are likely in control of the plane, where they intend it to go.

[OOC: To scale in RL, where is ViZion? Just for the record, we have 12 people onboard the plane: 8 players, 2 coaches, 2 watergirls. One player has already been killed, so there are only 11 people for us on there now. I'd like to have at least maybe 5 survive if the plane doesn't go down. ]
OOC: I'm in southern Italy... Jarridia is in Texas... ViZion City is located about half way down the "heel" of Italy, on the East Coast of it... couldn't tell ya where Jarridia's capitol is, though... you'll have to check w/ him on that... :? And, I have, lets see... about 80 ViZionarians on the plane, but only about 10 I'll probably RP... 4 or 5 of them are kids and teens, the others are adults...

[Also, note that guns wouldn't be used as much as you are making them out to be. One shot through the cabin and cabin pressure would be shot to crap. They'd probably use tranquilzers if any kind of gun, but more than likely small knives and such.]
