Armtech Industries Light Strike Vehicle

Armtech Industries has released a new Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting Vehicle, called the Light Strike Vehicle (LSV) that is intended to be a highly survivable and mobile D-21 Drop Pod internally transportable ground vehicle to perform long range Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting Acquisition missions in cooperation with Small Unit Operations. As well as fire support for small arms units, such as the 1st (Space) Drop Pod Marine Regiment. High mobility and integrated survivability will be key technology drivers to provide a leap-ahead capability over any fielded or add on systems for current vehicles.
The LSV will carry 7 to 8 Marines on long-range reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting and combat missions. When operating using only stored electric power (Its main power source), the LSV will be capable of silent movement and silent watch. Because of its lack of fossil fuel use (namely petrol) the LSV can recharge from both Solar cells mounted on the rear of the vehicle as well as recharging from the D-31 Drop Pod itself.
It can be armed will all the standard military weapons as well as the "Goldstream" laser developed for the D-10 Shuttle.

Armtech Industries Light Armoured Tracked Vehicle (LATV)

The LATV was part of the research and design program awarded to Armtech Industries. It like its cousin, LAV, the LATV is designed to support drop pod troops and therefore is compact enough to drop from a D-31 DropPod (the D-21 big brother). Using a rifled bore 140mm Cannon and 2 mounted Mk6 Machine guns, this is a tank beyond its time. Running off a internal electric battery the LATV can go 300 miles before being forced to recharge from solar cells or from the D-31 drop pod.
