Looking to develop new carriers

The Community is seeking partners to design and produce a new light carrier. We wish it to be on a smaller scale than the popular Nimitz Carriers and conventionally fuelled. As it is smaller it will be faster and cheaper, but will hold less aircraft.
If any are interested in this project then contact us here; we have up to $1 billion per year that we can put into this project.

We have come up with the basic specifications that we want
Max speed : 35-40 knots (greater if the engines can take it)
Aircraft capacity : 15-30
Range : 10-20 thousand miles (greater if the engines can take it)
Arms : 20mm guns
Anti-air defence
Anti-ship defence
[Machine guns?]
Do these specs sound ok to you? We also thought of doubling this up as a helicopter assault carrier, so two different Classes; but obviously that will be more costly.

Would the main version be using a ski-jump or a conventional catapult?
PS: If catapult's I'd suggest possibly a Kitty Hawk or JFK class.

Catapult probably. Can the Kitty Hawk go fast enough? Actually, is it possible to get a carrier to go 35-40 knots?
What we really want is a cheap, fast carrier.

That is a very impressive ship, we would definatly like to cooperate with you. Tal-Kerillion also showed interest, if they are still interested could they state so please.
Will that carrier be able to meet the specs that we laid out?

It is smaller. It is faster. It still, however, holds many aircraft. It is well defended, and a perfect choice.

The Enterprise does about 35 knots and the Iowa goes about 35 as well so getting the Kitty Hawk up there isn't too hard.
