Black hole discovered
Earlier this week, after several scans, tests, and lost satellites, Pyronean scientists have confirmed the existence of a black hole outside the Sol system.
"This is a very exciting discovery, if the right 'tools' can be built then we will be able to harness the power of the black hole." says Prof. Domern Rieh. "If all goes well, and the government decides to fund a project, we might be able to attain speeds close to, if not surpassing the speed of light with this kind of awesome power. Of course, the main problem is getting around that giant gravity vortex of infinite doom..."
Some critics say that it is a rather odd coinsidence that a black hole was found so soon after Pyronea's announcement that it is developing a space fleet with technology aquired from an undisclosed source.
The scientists nor the government have released the location of black hole.

From my view it's a rather large waste of money. How much would it cost to put a bullet in the back of someone's temple versus the cost to fuel a ship to fly out there, put them in a capsule (which costs money) and shoot them into the black hole. (It also takes money to pay the people manning the ship)
We also do not know if people would die while travelling through a black hole, it could destroy us or it could lead to another galaxy.
Blackholes can not be harnessed the CorpSac Space Core has lost 15 ships to date to Black holes. as soon as your in the Gravity Field your buggered the power from one of them does not out whigh the Cost. That you have decided to not give out the Location of the Black hole CorpSac will do sweeps of the Sol system. Maby the Black hole was made with over use of our Hyperspace Gateway.
when found CorpSac will place a Marker just like all other Black holes, Novas Etc. theres nothing so grate about a black hole you cant see it and well its a star that has fallen on it self.
plus if the Black hole is near the sun it will eat the sun, you best hope its a vary small Black hole cos the eat stars.

who says we gotta waste money? we just get a giant metal box, stuff em in, launch it out of Pluto, and watch it get caught by the Black Hole! Whether they get crushed or not, they'll die horribly for the crime/s they commited!
You obvisouly did not use the same techniques that we will, we have confidence that our efforts will be succesful

Ok, first of all, the smallest black holes are about the size of a proton and won't be swallowing Jupiter any time soon. Second, if it's there and of any consequence whatsoever, you are probably orbiting around it already and have been for the last few eons, so, unless you intend to magically alter the course of your planet so as to drive it directly into your magical portal of doom, you will feel its effects as though it were a star of equal mass which simply shed no light. Most planets orbit in a binary system anyway, but you can feel special if you want.
I'm not looking to piss anybody off 'cause internet arguments are pointless anyway, but I think it would do everybody good to go read _A Brief History of Time_ or something. :roll:
Some nations have hyperspace, others have orbital Mars colonies, and others have more sci-fi stuff. I don't see why I can't try to harness the power of a black hole. Seeing as how I've researched them and, looked at several theories, I'd say I know what I'm doing as opposed to someone saying "I have warp!"

i never sead it would eat jupiter soon i just sead it could, Second Sol dont have a black hole thats proven so this black hole must of moved and they do move sucked in by gravity of stars and such they move not all most dont. to you same you would need to "magicly move your planet" not really if a black hole incressed it gravity pull what can happen or if the Star does the same or it decress (e.g. starts to die) then the planet would move. hell if the Black hole is close to the sun then it would eat it. ya it would take maby second to MILLIONS of years but it still would get eaten.
anyway it proven to Control a Black hole you need to Control Gravity and that cant be done you can bend it but cant brake it. you cant brake Rules of physics. a black hole would most like distroy anything that came to close to the Gravermetic forces depending on how big it is.
Aside from the fact that I edited my first post to have it outside Sol, it obviously wasn't near the sun to begin with.

Such things as these are not IMPOSSIBLE, it is ALL THEORY! ALL OF IT!
We have np PROOF that we cannot harness the power of black holes, we have scientific THEORY, NOR do we have PROOF that we can, it is STILL scientific THEORY.
You have hyperspace? What's that? A Sci-Fi thing, well golly gee, if u can have sci-fi so can I.
I'm not arguing this anymore, unless you can PROVE that it is impossible, you can't stop me.
