RC Searches for Raw Materials in Space - Billions to Spend

10-02-2004, 06:00
Our nation is currently constructing a space colony ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=121846 ), and we require massive amounts of raw materials for its construction. In particular, we are searching for tungsten, titanium, steel, iron, and any other commonly used materials in construction.

If your nation possesses such materials, please contact us. We will pay you richly for your services.

If Colony is built near Mars Orbital colonys and/or the Hyperspace Gateways at high orbit around the moon and around Mars, the colony will be Targeted.

END.

With that corpsac will give you 100,000,000 Metric Tons of Iron, steel and a Vary Strong Metal that was Discovered in the Astroid Belt we call it Endor it is 30 times stronger then any Earth base Metal.

Total Tons: 300,000,000

if theres any thing you need go to the mall at: http://com3.runboard.com/bnationstatesforum.fcorpsaccorporation you can by some vary useful tech from us from there.

The Intron Lords would be very interested in participating in your colonization project, as we feel it to be strongly within our metier. However, we regret to report that we have little in the way of metals to offer as we have only recently inhabited the formerly empty region of Skivvyninonia and have yet to establish mines of any great worth.

We would, however, be very happy to supply the expertise with genetics and biochemistry that have made our trout farms internationally famous for productivity. Colonization will require not only material construction but also a thorough understanding of astrobiological parameters we feel qualified to assess.

Let us know if you're interested.

(Unfortunately, we also seem to be completely out of... what was it? Endor, the metal 30 times stronger than any known Earth metal? Pity, that.)

Spacer Guilds, your offer is appreciated - please check your TGs.

OOC: hehe if you knew what Endor was you would know its also 10x heavyer then any Earth base Metal thats why i use it to build my Cabital Ships in Space. its also only found in the Astroid belt and some outer Mining Colonys.

We will require approximately 1,024,000 tons of carbon steel, 128,000 tons of tungsten, 128,000 tons of titanium, and approximately 16,000 tons of other metals used in construction.

Our initial offer is 8 billion USD for the materials and delivery of them to our construction site.

Unnacceptable. 7.9 billion, and not a ruble more.
The materials you request are in good supply. Additional costs may be added if you request premachining into beams, arcs, or other parts, as opposed to raw ingots.
The final inventory will be transferred to a Phaiakian freighter, and delivered direct through them.

We thank the Spacer Guilds for their generosity. You have a deal.

If possible, we'd like the carbon steel in beams.

DGNT has large stores of the following:
Antimatter
Uranium
Gold
Silver
Cobalt
Zinc
Invar
Quadrainium

The last two are (made up) elements.
Invar: A very light, though not strong material, the thing that makes it differnt from say, tin, is the fact that it is almost totaly unresponsive to temperature changes, it neither expands nor contracts, and it is also a good conductor, making it an excelent material for building sensitive electronics, or clocks.

Quadrainium: A very heavy, very hard, very strong material, it is VERY difficult to shape, melt or otherwise make useful. But once its set in place not much will move it. DGNT Mars colony buildings made of it have been sitting in one place for hundreds of years.
