Earlier today officials with El Hefe Military Industries, the state owned and operated manufacturing firm, announced the end of the research phase of their new Pantera-VI (Panther 6) main battle tank. In their continued advance towards the future of warfare the new tank is a hovering design to give it added mobility and speed on the fluid battlefields of today and tomorrow. Production is expected to augement their existing armored forces rather than replace them according to military experts.
In response to anticipated demand from likely buyers in Europe EHMI officials also announced a plan to open a manufacturing plant in the nation of Knootoss. The plant would be responsible for filling local orders and for primary and some secondary assembly. The fusion plants are going to be imported directly from the nation of Treznor - the current supplier - and assembled with a chassis produced in Knootoss. EHMI officials point to the large arms manufacturing industry as well as the highly educated populace as reasons why Knootoss was chosen as a possible manufacturing site.
Intelligence analysts contacted suggested that the likely buyers for these systems will be members of the NDA (Non-Democratic Alliance) and possibly Knootoss and their former SATO allies.
