Today Veritasean High Command issued a blanket order to all Veritasean naval assets to return to their homebases, located within Veritasean territorial waters. The exact reason for this recall has not been announced, however there have been a few unofficial murmurs about the "recoil before the punch". Several sources, all of whom wished to remain anonymous, reported warships going to an increased state of alert shortly after the recall message was broadcast. Apparently standard Combat Air Patrols were increased over carrier battle groups and AEGIS systems went online. Other sources reported all Veritasean submarines coming to the surface briefly, most likely to receive messages, and then resubmerging.
