Decommisioned Arms Sale

The Imperium of Terra
08-02-2004, 07:04
The Adeptus Mechanicus, operating somewhat outside the sphere of Imperial law, has decided to place on the international market a bit of surplus materiel of war.

Up for sale are:

Ten Land Raider Mk. VIII Armored Troop Transports/Assault Vehicles:
Heavily armored, well-armed all-terrain vehicles, capable of transporting fifteen humans or ten men in power armor.

Three Basilisk Mk. I Long-Range Ordnance Delivery Platforms:
Lightly armored and highly mobile, the Basilisk is the keystone of Imperial siege machinery. Capable of delivering high-explosive shells at distances well exceeding two miles, and able to maintain a steady overland speed of forty-five miles per hour.

Two thousand Mars-pattern Lasguns
The most reliable weapon produced en masse by the Imperium, the Mars-Pattern Lasgun is a semi-automatic energy weapon capable of one hundred to one hundred and fifty shots per energy cell; energy cells are rechargable with the included self-contained generator. This weapons cache cannot be sold piecemeal, as only one generator is currently available.
In terms of firepower, the Mars-pattern Lasgun is roughly equivalent to most small gunpowder arms; a well-placed shot will penetrate light flak or mesh armor. Massed Lasgun fire is an extremely effective anti-infantry tactic.

More will likely follow as this decade's round of decomissionings continues.

Please send a terrestrial or Astropathic communication to Departmento Munitorum headquarters (OOC: send me a friggin' telegram) to negotiate prices and request purchases.
