The Adaptable Combat Weapon is Tyrandis Systems's first foray into the development of infantry weapons. Based on synthetic composites, the AIW is easily the most effective weapon in current design.

Utilizing modifiable parts on a solid rifle chassis, the AIW can be adapted to any possible combat situation, thus removing the need for purchasing multiple weapons platforms.

The barrel of the rifle can be fitted with a flash/sound suppressor (more commonly known as a silencer), a laser sight for pinpointing targets (effective range roughly 750m), or a Gauss accelerator for distance engagements and anti-armor purposes.

Mounted on the bottom of the rifle are either a GP-IV Propelled Grenade Launcher, a bipod for more accurate shooting, or a NVD-class flamethrower.

The AIW can be fitted with a variety of advanced combat optics (10x scope for snipers, reflex sights for close quarters, etc.), though it can be outfitted with standard ironsights for soldiers unsuited to the new technology.

The sides of the rifle can be fitted with the MLW (Multiple-Light-Wavelength) flashlight, useful for targets with cloak technology or low light environments.

More modifications are in development at this time.

The nation of Tyrandis is selling this state-of-the-art weapon for use in any military; Don't let yours be left behind!

I would like to buy

$12 million

That thing takes about three seconds to go through a clip, and 3.4 to reload. That's bad math in my book.

Oops... mistyped the reload rate. Fire rate isn't wrong; if you emptied a clip on full automatic, it would indeed take something around 3 sec to go through it. But in actual practice you wouldn't; the recoil would kill accuracy.

Tyrandis Systems will ship the rifles to your respective nations once we receive the money wire.

Bad idea Tyrandis. The 7.62 ammo is way to heavy to be used in 45 round magazines, especally in drawn out conflicts. The skill of the shooter must be very good if you want the 7.62 rounds to be more cost efficent than smaller sizes. Heres a cheaper alternitave with better accuracy, lighter weight and lower training need to operate.

OOC: I've never seen people saying, "This round is bad because it's heavier than that round" before I came to NS. I've come to believe it's just to find anything wrong with something. 7.62x39 does not noticably weigh more than 5.56x45, the larger weight of 7.62x51 is negligable and 7.62x54 and larger won't be used in infantry weapons with large capacity magazines. Even if, for example, there was a significant difference in the weight of 7.62x51 and 5.56x45, the 7.62x51 is a more reliable stopping round capable of putting down a man on PCP in a single hit and piercing most kevlar, or atleast disabling the person wearing it, so the 7.62x51 might be seen as better in that it will take down most people with less shots than 5.56x45.
