Higarian Defense stations are still strong enough to defend aganst your fleet. Ecliptia has ordered the Mon Ecliptus and Mon Veronus to go on active duty. These two ships are the most advanced ships in the sebecean fleet.

We can strike fast with out warning, desabling the ship.

Based on the level of your language capabilities, Im not too worried.

Defense is space tech is is kinda a lost effort though. It's a large, large place - just sticking your ships somewhere is going to be rather useless, since the enemy can just bypass them. But I better not say too much, or I'll be giving away my puppet's future military doctrine...

Basically most future tech is anoying... I prefer it when science fiction tries to stay close to realism without telling me a small race of people produced over 250 huge capitol ships using their infinate knowledge of technology.

About 45% try to be reasonable with their figures...

About 30% of you don't try very hard at all, but sci-fi films are good enough.

I'll say your not as bad as the last lot... those guys use time travel and all sorts of completely idiotic devices. Though I would like to point out that many believe that future tech is actually tougher to support then modern tech due to the increasing complexity of the technology.

For example; you have at least 10 million people working in a space environment in those Carriers alone, not including the servicing ships, the escort capitol ships (you said Battle Group, which to me reminds me of a Carrier Battle Group from RL which has around 8-10 vessals including the Carriers.) So we are probably looking at alot of people from your military working in space...

It's alot of people and it's a figure I don't think I could get around... but technology gets around all the modern day issues... I suppose thats why people like it, I have to make a good realistic navy where as a space nation can pull a figure out of its ass no matter what population they are.

Not that it matters, I'll leave it be... I couldn't begin to RP with someone who uses the resources of entire worlds seeing as I've only got a small part of earth and I'm almost 2 billion in size.

Though I can see how it can be nice to have cool ships... hell, my space fleet covers part of it but they don't even have FTL drive yet.

Well first..I play two timelines..modern and future. Second...my fleet, having 1.093 billion...I have no planet or system. All the resources were spent building ships. So 300 ships is a massive use of my resources. We travel like locusts, stripmining a planet dry to continue on our journey and build more ships, budding out and expanding the Fleet. I do try to be fair in this, and not mod....

I am myself gay, and my nation is larger, more powerful and is also space. I have many other large space friends, too. The only problem is that SS cannot RP properly - instead he manages to recall 250 cruisers... (hmm, I'm much larger and have a total of five, which is even pushing it with my resources)... to his planet in the matter of one post.
