Brown City was decimated today by missles from the nation of Vondell. Our nation was participating in a simulated war with the small nation of Vondell to better our military operations when a supposed simulated strike on Brown City actually occured! Much of the city has been destroyed and an estimated 3,000 people were killed. The Democratic Republic of Vondell of course immedialty shut down it's weapons systems and apologized. We have no idea why their war simulation programs would be connected to actual missle silos. We insist that Vondell allow Nindinian inspectors into it's weapons facilties to examine the cause of the accidental launch and that they discontinue all related programs for the time being. Brown City has been declared an emergency zone and our military is on high alert to deter any further attacks, intentional or not.

We again apologize for the tragedy that occured today. Rest assured that our simulated defense system has been shut down for inspection and that we will look fully into the cause of the accident.

Midlonia believes that and independantinspection would be required, Midlonian weapons system inspectors are more than welcome to enact this equiery for you

Minister of Defense Buchannon: We could order a high altitude bombing of installations capable of launching another attack?

Queen Brown: Although we do have the right, I am not willing to risk a war over this. What if we don't get them all in time and they intentionally launch what they have left at us.

The attack was intentional, to test our response for future attacks, to see how far they could push us...their playing mind games here! Queen Capitia Brown has come to a decision. Today 34 Nindinian bombers were sent to disable Vondellan long-range missle attack launch facilities. We are not looking for war and intend to go no further than destroying the facilities. We want to eliminate Vondell's capability to harm Nindinia via missle attack. This is happening regardless of what the Vondellan government wants so we urge them to evacuate the facilities. Our bombers will be there no longer than necessary and are not selecting any targets other than the launch facilities.

The Auslandreich Empire and the people of the Commonwealth of Auslandreich are saddened by this catastrophe and send their condolences, including our beloved King, Frederick VI.

Mark Savage sat manning his anti-aircraft gun outside his base in Vondell City. Vondell's small airforce had already been put on standby. His base was a missle launch facility and was a target of the Nindinian bombers. The sirens were sounding and people were scrambling all over. He could just barely see what he thought were jets when the silos started exploding. He started firing into the air trying to hit the bombers, knowing that it was a longshot. Then the last few silos opened and launched 4 large missles towards Nindinia. Shortly after the silos were vacated, they were destroyed. Mark swears he hit one of the bombers but it showed no immediate signs of damage. Soon they were out of range, either going home or to another target. Mark looked around the destruction. Everything was on fire; he wondered how many had died.

OOC: Vondell's 4 missles reached Nindinian cities and killed 333 people. We have launched Operation: Arctic Fury in retaliation. The Community is greatly saddened by these events, we consider that both nations have acted too rashly in this situation and the guns sounded without other options first being exhusted. Now, war looms and we suggest perhaps a meeting mediated by a neutral nation before Operation Arctic Fury starts to take lives.

Whatever comes to pass, No-Dachi Yo states her intention to send aid to both nations when this conflict is over; if indeed it does come to conflict.
