The benifits apply to all who are in the ITC, but laws will apply to all nations.

I would like to start with my reasons for creating the ITC. I have seen countless nations having new ideas, and even more nations who steal those ideas. I believe that a group of nations who have signed a treaty, to protect the patens of eachother. If any nation where to become a victim with a paten violation, than a court would be held, in where everyone in the ITC would have the right to vote as a jury (although voting is not required), to decide whether the acused nation is guilty or not, depending the sercumstance, and if they varied the design enough. The accused will be given a chance to make a defending case. If the accused is decided to be guilty, then we will vote upon proper punishment. If the convict refuses to co-opperate, than we all will help to neutralize the convict.

Other issues will be brought up by members, and voted upon by members.

We are eager to join as long as we do not have to lower our protective tariffs.

The nation of Erinin being small(relativly) on a global scale.
Has designed a new ballistics system.
Being deeply concerned that more a more powerful, nation, or a region backed nation, might steal that technology. Have resisted too much promotion of MetalStorm &copy.
We wish to join immediately, any patent/copywrite protection is greatly desired.

OOC:A suggestion to your Idea, a peaceful solution, if this grows large enough, would be an embargo list of offending nations who will not be sold to- or bought from. If enough nations simply do not trade with an offending nation, this may in some events be enough to resolve the issue.

What of a nation that isn't in your ITC? Let's say I have this technology that is stolen by a nation that isn't in the ITC? They don't follow the same rules because they are not part of it. They don't have to repsect the patent rights of other nations. Do you expect to walk up and say "You broke our groups laws, and even though you're not in our group, you have to pay the price anyway."

I took that to be the entire point. A group of nations who agree to protect and enforce patents. ENFORCE.

My point is, who is going to listen to them? If they are just a bunch of small nations saying "You can't take it cuz I said so" what's stopping a larger much more powerful nation from doing it?

The smaller nations would join together with their bigger nation allies and launch an all out war against the one big nation just as an example for other nations.

The benifits, the security of your patented idea ( patent ideas by placing "§ITC§" (you do the "§" by holding "ALT" and hitting the "3" key on the right of the board 6 times)) And if anyone in, or out of the ITC were to steal the idea, than we would hold cort on a sepreate topic, and there we first will decide whether the accused nation has altered the idea enough to qualify as a new idea, and the we will punish the nation however we see fit ( ns fines, etc.). but if the nation refuses to accept the punishment, than we will declare war upon the nation, or find other means of forcing the nation into complying to the punishment. If any eveidece has been edited, and dosn't have a reliable witness, than it will be discarded.

Erinin's Store front is still under construction, but I think that as technology is developed links to it should be posted here as the first people we want to sell to are the ones in this trade agreement.
Plus it will make it much easier for other Nations to locate goods with a single thread that theyu can use to jump to mutiple storefronts.

My nation does not have an active storefront right now, but is currently developing a massive amount of gear to be posted. We are EXTREMELY interested in this copyright idea.

Perhaps we could go further and even collaborate in development? I would be willing to split 50-50 with any artist who wants to work with me. Another idea would be to make a seperate forum at InvisionFree for the sole usage of the §ITC§ where we could all post items first, contract out, and debate policy. Just a suggestion.

I hope that you have noticed the Embargo, and I hope to avoid war, and Dontgonearthere and independant hitman sholld realize that tey don't either.

The Empire of Shinkar Prime, is considering joining this alliance, however, we are currently waiting for an explicit statement of objectives and obligations of this alliance, and the implications of joining.

Whoa!!! I am active. But this was M-pires Idea, his baby and his decisions.
Everything I am posting is input,suggestions, thats all.
I just work here, get me. I also reccommended to my region mates(one who happens to be my roomate) that joining would be a good idea.
I also reccommended to a couple other nations I know to join.
BUt this is say again-not my idea-not my project.
I have a growing store front and want it protected, M-Pires §ITC§ sounded good, so I am just trying to help it grow.

I have new tecknology that could help drasticaly with the enforcment, I an now "testing" it on dgnt, seing the path that our trade dispute has taken. After the war I will et my soldiers tell you about it when they return unharmed.
