PFV Patriotic, 24 Miles out of New Karavia
Red alert klaxons blazed. The crew ran around like headless chickens while Komodir Zanilov pondered what to do.
"Komodir! Take a look at this!"
Zanilov ran over to the port watch tower, on the side of the bridge. He climbed the short rung ladder, and stood next to the crewman on top.
"Lean over Komodir, and take a look at the side of the ship !"
Zanilov leaned over, and gasped. The side of Patriotic had a gaping hole inside, water rushing through. He could see the crewmen below lowering lifeboats.
He dropped down into the bridge, and rushed over to the communication ensign.
"Ensign, contact the Naval Base in New Karavia, tell them of the situation."
"Yezzir Komodir Zir, may I be zo bold az to azk a queztion ?"
"Go ahead Ensign"
"Whatz happened?"
"Ill be frank. We are sinking."
The room went quiet. All the crewmen inside turned to face him. Patriotic was the pride of the Hogsweat Navy, a pinnacle in modern ship engineering. It was supposed to be unsinkable.
"Evacuate the ship, as if everyone hasnt started"
The ensigns nodded.
Torpedo Deck, two decks below sea level
"WHATZ GOING ON KAMARADS!"
"We're SINKING!!!"
"IMPOSSIBLE KAMARAD! PATRIOTIC CANNOT SINK!"
Little did the crewmen of C Tube know, but they were about to die.
Secondary Engine, one deck below sea level
"PREZZURE GONE kAMARAD!!! THE ENGINES ARE SHUTTING OFF!"
ZertiaKam (Third Mate) Jaliov grabbed the phone to the bridge.
"Kamarad Komodir, we are"
The phone cut off.
"Oh crap"
The bulkhead door blew and the water flooded in.
Three Decks above sea level
The bomb had been planted. Amarakan was in full disguise, no-one suspected him. He ran right up the stairs, and jumped in the only working elavator. It was packed full, not even enough space to barely breath. Below him scores of men panicked and waited for the elavator to come back down. They would be dead by the time that happened. Amarakan walked out of the elavator, and while everyone else piled out up to the top deck, he went along to the Missile Stores. He had one more job left.
