Recent advances in human ebyronics have focused mainly on eliminating genetically transmitted diseases in the East of Eden region. MUL NUN-KI research laboratories have also moved forward with experimental human cloning.
MUL NUN-KI’s leader, Marduk, has personally traveled to Mr. Hefner’s empire to collect cell samples for this purpose. The Nation’s foremost scientist, Dr. Immen S. Woody, predicts success, but cautions, “There is a strong likelihood that these cloned females will not survive past the age of 26.” When queried on how he could characterize this limitation as a ‘success’, Dr. Woody responded, “It depends on what you define success as.”
