The Dominion of Skager's top technology experts have begun a project that is hoped to introduce a new age in technological warfare. We introduce....SONIC.

The SONIC system is simple. It is a backpack mounted speaker system that plays specialised CDs with about 90 watts of power. The special CDs play almost any type of music, and encorporate a special high-frequency sound that distrupts certain computer functions, mostly what is found in standard AIs.

The units are currently undergoing testing in top secret facilities. Preorders can be taken in about a week (OOC-When I can next get in the forums) Any music can be used for the SONIC system, but heavy metal is suggested, because most of the time it is loudest. Standard CDs are availible in only limited tracklistings. These songs are:

Du Hast-Rammstein
Cold-Static X
Feure Frei!-Rammstein
Structral Defect-Static X
Dragula-Rob Zombie
Bombshell-Powerman 5000

Please keep in mind that tracks used in the SONIC are specially formated for use. Custom music can be had at a cost. Generally costs vary depending on genre and particular song. For example, a heavy metal song is easier to format then a punk song.

We hope costs will be low on the unit, but still more then a standard infantry weapon would be. Costs are expected to be in the 600-700 credit area.

The SONIC system has officially been unveiled today. The system has been perfected and is ready for sale. Unit cost is slightly higher then expected. Each SONIC backpack retails for 800 credits.

OOC: I think Rammstein is a finish or German band I believe? I know its from some part from that part of the world, my friend listens to it.

Also the Russians have a similar weapon but it uses radio waves or something to alter the personalities of people, like to make them get extremely mad and violent or peaceful.

IC: The Government of Nano Soft like to let the Skager government know that there research with this is completely use less because something like that would not work at all, first of all I believe you measure that volume of sound in a different measure and just playing extremely loud music will have no effect on a AI unit but will only heart soldiers ears. You research with this is a complete waste of money and is useless and basically a worthless piece of junk that has no effect on any thing but soldiers and making them have really bad headaches.

I read your whole post and the thing is a load of crap! There could and never be anything like that! You cant just go and play music on a high frequency! That’s basically playing music on the radio. Also that would not harm AI units! Maybe you should consult your designers again, maybe you hired them from the wrong place. :wink:

Thank you for that support. Nano Soft, the point of this is that it is brand new. We invented it and built it. It is completly original. The frequency was specially made by us.

A founding reason that the tech was built is that we have noticed a large amount of hardened AIs being built, and this is at least a temporary solution to the problem. And with the mention that you use lots of AI yourself Nano Soft, I think that you are simply sore that we have created a huge problem for you.

And there is no way you can call me a noob. As of February 13th, it'll be one full real time year I've been on NS.

Hey I saw this great region where they teach you “how” to role play, I cant remember the name it was role play something! I think it would be very use full for you and you might have fun.



Skager just because we use AIs doesn't mean where not a power. We usually don't even use Ro-Bots or AI units for that matter only one major war once and that was against Stonies. In every other war we have not used them.

But I am telling this is a waste of you time! Know why? Because you can make a AI unit sound proof so no sound gets in, there it makes your weapon useless and a whole bunch of waste of money!

Nano soft, the frequency is not affected by any soundproofing. It only affects the AI unit. Any and all AIs need some way of sensing the outside world. That is where they are vunerable to SONIC.
