OOC: My first time on NS seriously, first nation, willing to learn.

Envoys have been sent to all large but sparsely populated nations, for in an unprecedented move of collossal proportions, tens of millions of nomadic horse-archers, known to Nation-States asLiangites, have entered the world. With tech levels dropping below medieval times, Liangites would be considered a Turko-Mongol race, and every last man of the huge tribe is required to fight in the horse-archer raiding parties that go out every now and then to pillage for supplies, as the initial massive stockpile is running thin. Currently ruled by the benevolent, ingenius, and warlike king Mattingis V the nomadic Liangites are searching for land, modernization, and above all food. Having already antagonized, pillaged, crushed, and absorbed several other tribes, the Liangites are a tough warrior nation, with upwards of 10 million horse-archers available for mobilization (the entire war-savvy male population is ready to fight, though the number of raiders at any given time would be only around 5,000), though the outcome of any battle with even the least modernized nations Mattingis is not in doubt. The Liangite mass has brought with them huge herds and almost as many horses as warriors, including a new feathered version. As already mentioned, diplomatic representatives of the Nomadic Peoples of Northwestern Liang have been sent otu searching for any and all nations ready to help the desperate group.

We are willing to take your entire group of refugees in. Our nation has excellent civil rights, as well as healthcare for all. We view immigrants as a valued asset, and would be honored by your presence.

OOC: What, nobody else wants to help the poor noob? :P

((OOC: Heh, thanks, feel free to suggest things to me. Can I cross RP between two threads? I mean, this is my whole nation :)))

King Mattingis V received an envoy from Exonerate, who explained about the hospitable nature and their willingness to receive the Liangites and all their people.

This information came just as the entire Liangite people were building rafts in preparation for their landing on the yet unnamed island to the east, which Liangite spies had said was unclaimed. Mattingis had now an important decision to make. His individualistic spirit told him to continue on to the island, while his common sense told him to accept Exonerate's offer. A battle raged in his mind, and for the next several days the Liangites were in a state of limbo on the coast, while the raft-building continued. it suddenly occured to the befuddled king, usually so charismatic and apt to decision-making, to find out more about Exonerate and its lands. Unknowing of any technology beyond catapults, bows, and light armor, he sent another diplomatic envoy to Exonerate, bearing gifts of gold-gilded armors and weapons, with intructions to inspect the land the Liangites were being offered. The lone Liangite spy was also sent, to compare it with the island he had found.
Meanwhile, a conference with the tribe's elders was needed.

"Sir, the Liangian people have sent an envoy to meet with us."
"Please send it in."

OOC: Yes you can. And "it" is used as a gender neutral pronoun in Exonerate :P

Mattingis had made his final decision, though he was not about to let Exonerate know this. The envoy was being delayed, and the Liangites were not a patient people. Already the advance forces of his entire nation were beginning the passage over to the island. If all went well he hoped to be able to deal with Exonerate as an independant, established nation in the future. Perhaps, he thought, he could even decieve this nation. Still unknown of the wonders of any modern technology, thinking all the nations of this world on the same footing as his own, he ordered the next batch of Liangite rafts on to the island. His subconcious told him the decison would cost him and his people dearly.
