After nearly two weeks of intense delegation and talks, the nation of Former Soviet Nations agreed to sell 1,460 square miles of uninhabited land on the border with the Armed Republic of Soviet Bloc to the Armed Republic of Soviet Bloc. The price: A cheap 580 USD per acre.
Approximately 24 minutes ago, the II Armored Corps and the 15th Infantry Division geared up to move into the land to secure the new border. Behind them, fourteen construction battalions that began seeking out positions to begin constructing three new army bases, two new air force bases and a secure research station.
After purchasing this land the ARSB has begun fierce talks with the nations of Stavropol and Bosnia-Herzegovina in purchasing land that borders the ARSB.

The ARSB feels a need to expand once more...
The 17th Infantry division, supported by III Armored Corps and the 33rd Air Cavalry division begin pushing into the former Russian district of Stavropol from the borders of Soviet Bloc.
The 11th Infantry Division along with I Armored Corps pushes into the former Russian district of Rostov from the borders of Soviet Bloc.
The 45th Infantry Division, II Armored Corps, and the 92nd Reserve Infantry Division push into the former Russian district of Volgograd from the borders of Former Soviet Nations.
The 33rd Airborne Assault Division has landed at Astrakhan and will proceed to capture the surrounding area and then link up with the other divisions.
The 3rd Army Group will push into the country of Georgia from the southern border of Soviet Bloc.
Status:
No resistance in Stavropol. Area taken with no casualties. Locals cheer as ARSB units move into city and countryside.
Medium resistance is encountered in Rostov. Estimated 12 Soviet Bloc soldiers have been killed and 17 wounded in uncoordinated attacks on ARSB units. Otherwise, ARSB force has successfully captured Rostov and the 1200 square miles around the city.
Light resistance encountered in Volgograd. Four Soviet Bloc soldiers killed, eight wounded. Otherwsie, ARSB force successfully captures city and area extending to Kazakhstan border.
Medium resistance encountered near Astrakhan. 21 Soviet Bloc soldiers killed with 34 wounded. Otherwise, all land in the middle of Rostov, Volgograd, Stavropol, and Astrakhan has been captured by Soviet Bloc forces. Overall, locals agree with the ARSB cause and willfully join the ARSB.
Little resistance encountered in Georgia. Two Soviet Bloc soldiers killed, one wounded. Also, Caucasus mountains between ARSB and Georgia have been captured.

The invasion of the above-said areas was successful. So far, military bases and checkpoints are being set up until order can be restored. When order is restored and the local economy has regained its strength, the ARSB will officially recognise them as Soviet Bloc districts.
Across the new Soviet Bloc districts, military bases are hastily set up and tent cities are erected to house the soldiers. A few scattered attacks in more hostile regions cease after a massive Soviet Bloc Army push killed 230 suspected terrorists/guerillas and found numerous pieces of weapons.
In the south-eastern portion of Georgia, a military force spearheaded by the 74th Infantry Division gears up for a push into the country of Armenia. Before they set off, two armored divisions (the 16th and 43rd) move in to provide support.
Days later, the force is prepared to move out... And that's exactly what they do, swarming into the North-western area of Armenia, no match is met and they continue sweeping through Armenia until the country is under the Soviet Bloc flag. The force met moderate resistance, losing 78 men in the capture of the country. As bases are being set up, no terrorist attacks are being reported.
After Armenia is secured, the 34th Infantry Division along with IV Armored Corps moves into Armenia to prepare to push into Azerbaijan. The 415th Parachute Infantry Corps and the 1239th Parachute Armor Corps are dropped into the South-east portions of Azerbaijan and immediately take over that portion of the country with no opposition. After this is completed, another parachute infantry corps is dropped in and they begin pushing NW along the Armenian border, picking up Soviet Bloc military units along the way. As soon as this occurs, the 34th ID and IV AC push east into Azerbaijan, meeting up with the parachute infantry, the quickly push farther into the main portion of the country, capturing the rest of it. Afterwords, a small detachment led by the 433rd Armor battalion push into the disconnected portion of Azerbaijan, SW of Armenia. No resistance is met there. Overall, the push into Azerbaijan met little resistance, Soviet Bloc casualties: 22 dead, 17 wounded.
As of now the ARSB controls all land south of the Caucusus Mountains to the borders of Turkey and Iran and all land north of the Caucusus Mountains to the Volga River (just north of Volgograd), to the west, the Black Sea, and to the east, the border with Kazakhstan.

Below is a map of the Caucasus region. Note that our borders extend up to Volgograd, east to the border with Kazakhstan, and west to the border with Ukraine and down along the Black sea and its tributary waters.
Also, we extend farther south into a small 'disconnected' portion of Azerbaijan, which should've been on this map but isn't.

Once again feeling the need for expanding its borders in this short amount of time, the Soviet Bloc military is gearing up to head into Turkey.
Along the south border of Georgia, the 55th Infantry Division along with the 112th Reserve Infantry Division, supported by the 63rd Armor Regiment, prepare to move out and head straight south towards the Turkish town of Erzurum.
A day later they did just that, the force begins its quick advance through Turkey encountering stiff resistance. Right off the bat, they encountered a heavy assault, leading to the demise of 17 ARSB soldiers and an unofficial 31 enemy deaths. After this quick clash, smaller battles occured across the advance until they hit Kars, where most resistance stopped. After reaching that point, six more infantry divisions and two armor divisions pushed in behind them, spreading out to secure all of the former Turkish land, upon reaching about the same line the entire force began a massive push towards Erzurum, reaching it in four days. Along the way, twenty-eight ARSB soldiers were killed and two MMPWV-03 Veprs were destroyed. After reaching Erzurum, a proclamation was made that this new area conquered would now be known as the Kars district of the ARSB, with its district capital at the city of Kars.
Four infantry battalions out of the 112th seperate and push north with the aid of a single battalion of ST-11s. They meet no match until they hit the town of Kurshmikan along the Black Sea. Upon entering the town, a small rebel attack quickly killed four Soviet Bloc infantry but the ARSB force regained its composure and utilised the 'Project Omniscient' visors to effectively spot the enemies in their own 'safe-houses', quickly ending the resistance in that town. Upon its capture, an airborne assault battalion was dropped in to hold the town, the rest of the force pushed east until it hit Trabzon which fell without any resistance. With that lane of advance secured, two more infantry divisions made their way into Turkey, as well as a marine division that landed on the shores of the Black Sea. This force began pushing south until it Erzurum, which fell with light resistance, killing two ARSB army soldiers and one marine. After Erzurum's capture, the marine division continued south until it hit the Aras River, where it halted and set up camp. Immediately after, an airborne assault regiment was dropped in and the combined force continued on to Lake Van and to the Iranian border. Along the way, the force had left garrison units to defend the new ARSB border.
Afterwards, a naval base was built near the town of Trabzon, two air force bases were built, one at Kars and another at Tyhibrum, near Lake Van.

The ARSB, after reaching an agreement with an ally nation, has pulled out its forces from Georgia and instead sent two infantry divisions to occupy the former nation of Kazakhstan (formerly under USSCR rule). The nation of the USSCR will now occupy Georgia. The USSCR and ARSB have also agreed on splitting the area from the ARSB to Volgograd with the USSCR receiving the northern half, decided on the following terms: The border will go from Georgiafipskaya, extending East towards Stavropol but passing 100 km above it, and then flattening out into a line straight across. Everything North of it is Communist Rule's, and everything South is Soviet Bloc's.
