In line with the constant military expansion of the USIH Military, several new contracts have been placed with domestic munitions firms for various types of munitions.
A contract has been issued to Independent Hitmen Arms&Ammo Ltd. for an increase in production of all calibers of small arms ammunition, including mortar shells and .50 caliber bullets. This contract means that an extra 120 million rounds of 5.56, 7.62, .30cal, .50cal, 9mm Pistol and Submachine Gun, and various mortar shells will be manufactured each year.
A contract for spare M1 Tank parts has also been re-issued to the Government backed Organic Defence Systems for the production of 30mm Cannon Shells and 125mm Tank shells. This contract is said to amount to some 12 billion dollars.
However not all of our munitions requirements can currently be met by existing factories. While constuction of new production lines intensifies numerous munitions are left in short stock. The Government has therefore decided to begin looking for foreign defence contractors to provide for the USIH's needs while the new factories become operational.
The following contracts are open for bids on the International Market:
1200 AGM-154 JSOW bombs. 120 Variant A's, 1080 Variant C's.
Estimated Cost $246,585 per unit.
Total Contract Value of $295,902,000USD
10,000 CBU-59 APAM "Rockeye".
Estimated Cost $20,000 per unit
Total Contract Value of $200,000,000USD
