The intelligence we recieved was that they were planning to attack Vulcanus, a friendly region, as well as our own region. I was not implying that thats how many made it. The original plan called for a combined operation consisting of 200,000 paratroopers. Due to poor weather 30,000 made it.

Tyrantis: That is still BS. The Army didn't even have that many Paratroopers. Furthermore, they didn't have the airlift capability for that much people either. How many people did Operation Overlord employ? If I remember my history correctly, not even close to 200,000.

This is an OOC post:

For today's standarts you have to calculate a maximum of 30 soldiers per aircraft (with full equipment besides the standart one for each: medical supplies, food, heavy weaponry, etc), and those would be REALLY HUGE aircraft. If you think you have enough planes, then go for it.

But... taking into consideration the organizational disaster that Market Garden was... can you imagine 17.000 aircrafts trying to get to their targets, droping everyone in time and everyone joining their team before being caught alone behind enemy lines?

If anyone did this for real, even in perfect weather conditions and with total surprise, against a well prepared enemy: they would lose about a third of their men, a half of their equipment and probably they would have their platoons scatered all over the place.

Do as you want, but this I said above would be the correct outcome for your forces.

On a personal opinion, if The Fedral Union joins this war just because he got personally offended, it's pathetic.

This war is completely unprovoked. GCON has done absolutely nothing against the Midlands or Vulcanus. We have been monitoring Vulcanus's regional forums, and here are some quotes-

The GCON air force has about 700,000 plus fighters and 800,000 plus bombers if you want to go atmospheric. Space we have a few Tyrantis class ships that would destroy any fighter or bomber crazy enough to attack our cannons.

OOC: The US at the height of the Cold War didn't even have half of what you just launched. If you want to play that way, fine - Our region has many more people, and most are larger than yours too. Our economy is more powerful than yours - we could easily launch more missiles. THIS is why people don't RP nukefests. There's no fun involved.
