Area 72: Aerospace Laboratory,
Arkenskaya
A single SMF-II taxis towards the runway. In it was Llovek Nihikov, one of the many test pilots of the laboratory. Several officers and researchers manned the control tower nearby, firefighters and medical teams form a row across the side of the runway, all monitoring carefully the aircraft. Then, with a loud rumble, the aircraft sped and flew up.
For a while it stayed in the air, manuevering gracefully, performing manuevers normally seen done by Su-37s even better. Though, the people below did not care. After another while, it began to head back to the runway, slowing down, and then touching down. Only then did everyone rejoice.
The first aircraft powered by octane fuels obtained from coconut oil had flown and landed safely.
OOC:
Please, instead of debating about the research on the completion thread, post in the project thread. Thank you for your cooperation. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=113869)
