The Holy Republic of Sereinity has been putting a lot of religious pressure on the Aethist Dictatorship of Ikkitousen. The Holy Congress says that "Ikkitousen must come to recognize God as the almighty" and that "The nation will fall if it continues it's current religious views." Crime is a very serious problem in Ikkitousen and Sereinity says that "...it is one of Gods punishments to the heathen nation."

It is believed this pressure is brought on by years of dispute between the two nations over a mountain range rich in natural resources that lies directly between them.

Political analyst Bob Dole says "there is no point to this religious move. Besides the fact that each nation is free to have it's own religious views, saying 'repent sinners or thou shalt be smitten!' wont get Serenity anywhere closer to owning that mountain range. Maybe it's just a feeble effort to 'scare' Ikkitousen into pulling back its troops from the region."

We protest... Each government is a soverign entity - the views of others should not be imposed upon them. While our nation has a Separation of Church and State, we do not force others to do so.

That being said, we are willing to mediate this conflict.

IC: The People's Republic of The Cubans does not give or support Religious Groups financially at all. Religion is for the people to support and We believe, if we favor one Church one time, we must favor the rest another. We also do not make laws based upon religious morals or values.

The Democratic States of Neo Athenia, being a relgious nation itself, believes that all states should have at least some form of religion in their country.

However, as free peoples we cherish our right to choose what religious values they wish to live by. Even if they are not ones which observe the Almighty God, we must always accept the fact that not all people believe the same thing, and remember that a forced religion is no religion at all.

With that said, Neo Athenia would be willing to send diplomats to both nations to assist in settling this discrepancy

Crimson Sparta will assist Sereinity in every way that it can to persuade nations to see the path towards Heaven.

The Rogue Nation of Squeezitlandia believes that religion in government only serves to oppress people and religion is a choice and a matter for the home and church only. We will stand against any nation that tries to crusade against nations that are not religious.
