Well, back to topic, I would much be honored and would like the Cajun Pork Roast. (to be different.)

The name of our delgate will not be released until he/she arrives. A robust man subserviently serves a woman in a grocery store as He fills the brown, paper bag with the purchased vegetables.

“You couldn’t possibly do this any faster young man?! I do have things to do” The women said impatiently.

The man gave no reply, yet continued on with his labour. Unexpectedly an indicator on his watch began to flash red. Switching the flashing light off the man un-strapped his grocery cape and proceeded to leave the store for his car parked outside.

“Excuse me!? Where are you going…I haven’t paid for this!” The women shouted to no avail. As she watched the man get into his car and drive off, leaving with no employee to supervise the store

Using the hands free kit in the car the man phoned up a number.

Car driver: “This is IH-TO1487, signing in – message received”

Unknown manly voice “Good, you’re the last operative – We have set up a rendezvous on your phone – meet us there”

Secret IC (You don't know I'm doing this): Far overhead Auk IV Recon Satellites are taking pictures of every strategic aspect of TBD. Thermal and regular pictures of its waters and coasts, and detailed, high resolution pictures of the dinner grounds itself. Look. the sensors on our starships could detect how many nose hairs you have, so i think that we can detect a sub. If TBD want's our assistance in detecting subd during the banquet,we will be more than welcome to bw of assistance.

OOC: What, sitting 'silent'? A nuclear sub is always producing the sounds of a reactor water being cycled. Also, active sonar isn't listening. Its painting a picture of the water below. Side-scan sonar could be on those ships as well.

OOC: well im in International waters my sub has a right to be there it could be on a missile patrol.
Also active sonar reveals your position the objective of searching for subs is to remain unseen and find your pray not shouting out "HERE I AM WHERE ARE U!"
Also there are ways to limit the active sonars detection ability, for example my subs use pitted rubber over there metal hulls to help mask there signature.

OOC: He stated he has a FLEET. Surface ships are OBVIOUSLY there. They sound like whales humping next to a microphone to submariens. THEREFORE surface ships almost always use active sonar. And while your sub may be covered with rubber, sidescan sonar could still find you. I don't know what his fleet has, but I'm just stating facts. And finally, the sound of the SEAL-like team's crafts would blare like a whistle to passive sonar.

Godmod. We have all fleets on high alert and you could not possibly get past beach SSM installations.

I hate to say it, but its not a godmod. You're a much smaller country and your navy was destroyed not too long ago. You couldnt possibly keep a submarine from sneaking toward one of your beaches.

Yes, it is godmod. It's not upto the attacker to decide what defences the other side has, thus, this is a major godmod. And yes, detecting subs IS NOT as hard as you all seem to think. Any Navy ship or anti-sub aircraft or instaliation can do it easily. Before you call me an idiot, I spent the last 3 years studying military equipment and technology.

1. theres going to be atleast someplace where there isnt that much defense you realize how difficult it is to defend every inch of beach?

2. It doesnt matter if my sub is detected. its trying not to be detected like all subs but its in international waters it can sit there till its hearts content.

2. International waters is just that. They can easily choose to sink you just because they feel like it. Law can't reach people in international water. Politics can, of course, but not law.

OOC:
Please, no offense, but be quiet if you don't know what your talking about.

I'll address point 2 because point 1 is pointless if you can't get a sub to the beach. ALL TBD HAS TO DO IS FOLLOW YOUR SUB AND TORP IT AS IT ENTERS TBD WATERS.

Also TBD im looking at your military page right now and you make no referened to any of your coastal defenses and you only have 300 home guardsmen.

OOC:
TBD doesn't need a sub. All TBD needs is an venerable destroyer. Hell, TBD could use a Fletcher Class destroyer. First laid down in 1941 or 1942. All it would have to do is ping your sub, not exactly hard. If you torped. the destroyer TBD would know where you are. TBD could then use coastal aircraft to follow it with sonar buoys. As it got closer TBD could use a helocopter with a homing torpedo to take it down. Undectable subs are a myth. (Or a future tech)

Not to be a bother(I didnt realize I was entering a war thread, thought it was diploymatic) but, even the most sophisticated modern sonar web, has holes, it is fundamentally impossible to to be scanning EVERYWHERE.
Second most modern nation on inter coastal waters do not scan for surface craft like what a SEAL team would use, because it would sound like any small pleasure craft or fishing boat, so they would be forever tracking targets, an auto defense system would costantly be killing their civilians. A beach born auto defense system would again be constantly killing civilians.
Even at the highest alert single subs are hard to catch, even with side scan sonar, think proximity.
A trained insertion team could easily be deployed 50 miles out, and VERY quitely make way to shore(USA does it all the time, they dont succeed strickly because of superior tech, the tactic is sound).
However, again the insertion would be like this:
sub stop close to hostile waters -deploy team(typically 5 man)- sub move along hostile waters limits till they are detected, then they lead the 'lookouts attention away from the insertion team(a surface vessal is also often used to bait spotters) the sub will only remain stactic twice, once for drop off, and once for insertion.
The team being inserted will have the pick up pre-determined, and either the sub will make it, or it will decide it is too risky, or get sunk and the team-dies.
The escape is always the most difficult part.
The WWII days of sitting and waiting are over, all subs 'actively' hide.

Just remember a sub does not deploy 50 men, it is usually 5.
Thats just my two cents though, since I didnt send my fricking army with my leader I really hope he doesnt get 'aced' by a bunch of terrorists.
