OOC - This RP is closed to all but the original international coalition which brought pressure upon the Fruit Islands to open their borders to a team international inspectors to look for links to terrorism, especially the GLA.

"Well?"

"Still no word from the Fruit Islands sir," the communications officer said with a mixture of fear and awe.

"Give me that radio son, we'll try 'em again...

Guerrillistan awaiting inspectors from Oz IV.

Officials will primarily show the inspectors the abandoned camps situated deep in the mountains of Guerrillistan.

Secondly they will show the damage suffered from illegal airstrikes by coalition forces including 2 power stations, 5 canal bridges, vast agricultural infrastructure(mistaken id) and miltary losses.

What supposed "military" forces were hit? You made mention of none being mobilized so we had no idea where they were, and Credonian cruise missiles targeted buildings and other places (never directed at military forces despite the fact that you hadnt even announced your mobilizing of them)

4 Shilka air defence units were destroyed.
Several military bunkers and CPosts were destroyed.

5 advanced radar posts were destroyed.

183 civilians were killed in cruise missile strikes.
26 civilians are missing limbs.

OOC: when i rp i don't worry about numbers and specifics for military, its common sense for military to mobilise if under threat of invasion.

yes but still, you could have made mention of it, not only that you never made an attack which added to the speculation that you were just gonna sit there like bumps on a log and be destroyed

The teams of inspectors made careful note of the destruction caused by the coalition forces, including the bombings carried out by the Republic's own stealth fighter-bombers.

Especial care was taken there to assess the accuracy of the strike and the extent of the damage for forwarding back to the Ministry of Defence, but also for purposes of reparations which the Ruling Council had already agreed to pay.

====

Teams of RN Marines debarked in the area of the GLA camps for in-depth field studies, including searches for documents. Of particular interest was the camp which the Republic's SOG teams had visited during the brief campaign.

====

Finally, teams of forensic accountants were ferried to the Guerrillistan capital to review the governments financial records to look for payments to the GLA or any other terrorist group during the past year.

~~Secret Message to Guerrillistan High Command~~
To: Guerrillistan High Command
From: Commodore Rund VII

We have a captured member of a former GLA cell who was living in the jungles of Guerrillistan. We would like to return him to his former location.

We request an escort to said location for the drop-off.

Please advise.

Credonia, if you were targetting military installations, it is reasonable to assume that military forces were hit.

Also, the damage being claimed by Guerrillistan is light compared to what one would expect. We fully expect to find further evidence of death and destruction during our inspections.

Guerrillistan have ejected all inspection coalition members.

No GLA traces were found.

We confirm that no traces of the GLA were found within Guerrillistan. The Republic has paid 50,000 USD to the family of each man killed by the SOG teams who invaded and captured suspected terrorists.

Further, we have wired funds to the Guerrillistan government to cover the cost of the damage done by our air raids.

The Republic's forensic accountants could not find any evidence of Guerrillistan payments to the GLA in the last five NS years and we formally apologize to the Guerrillistan people for our mistake.

The faction within the Republican Security Agency responsible for bringing the Republic to the brink of war have been punished and safeguards have been placed to ensure that bad data will not deceive the Ruling Council again.

OOC - It is an old thread, but Guerrillistan is right that we should have resolved this. I was thinking of reviving it at the weekend to withdraw our people...

Guerrilistani Government today burnt the symbolic peace treaty with the coalition blockaders.

The government believes there is no need for such a treaty seeing as their innocence in the "war on terror" has been proved.

The government also celebrates their new ties with Ozymandias IV

OOC: thread hopefully closed :wink:
