The Empire of Benicius has been given word that a large invasion force is headed towards our nation by the state of Shinoxia. Despite progress being made in "Benician-Shinoxia Peace Summit" (II thread), Shinoxia now wishes to attack our peaceful nation.

We appeal to the international community to help fend off this aggression.

The following message was sent only recently by Shinoxia:

The government has since recalled all military divisions back to the mainland to defend Benicius.

The provisional government would appreciate military assistence by those who respect peace and not war. We do not wish to fight, but to defend our land we shall have no choice.

Benicius will not fire in anger unless fired upon first.

Dr Twist read the War on Benicius i dont have any idea what the other is called. I will support you Benicius i will post what im deploying a little later but im giong to eat something really quick then ill be back.

So much reading can some 1 just give me the jist of it, like why he is going to attack how it all started whats happened so far and so on.

I resent accusations that these movements have been without merit, but other solutions are being posed as we speak. Please, attempt to negotiate, comrade. Indignance and attempts to spark international unrest will do no more than start a war.

Basically it started with Benicus deploying a couple of carrier battle groups over a dispute they started over oil drilling rights.

They never fired, only threaten... then alot of whining occured, then more whining, then it was halted...

War was declared by Shinoxia, then it didn't happen as talks occured, it seemed ok but then Shinoxia started the war again, much to my disapointment as they seemed to have reached an agreement... eitherway, if he doesn't start talks again I will make him have alot more trouble harming Benicus on the principal I don't like his way of diplomacy... Benicus gave into demands, payed him and all...

The Empire of Benicius has been negotiating in a peace summit with Shinoxia for some time now. Having almost reached an agreement, Shinoxia sends an invasion force. This is not the action one would take if they were committed to peace.

Here's my limited take on the matter - and note that I'm supporting Benicius.

B got into some type of scrap with a bunch of nations from Antarctica.

They are known bullies (like the early days of the RGGA, and Nankin ;) )

I have foiled such attempts in the past.

I would like your help to resolve this one without bloodshed.

Its been a while since we've worked together (Since the SC v Nankin thing) but this one is worth it.

I offered to pay off the "debt" for Benicius at 40 cents on the dollar, but was turned down by Shinoxia. The other thread that may be instructive is the "War on Rebeland" thread, in which Shinoxia et al threatened Rebeland for 15 pages or more before it disintegrated into a godmod fest.

The People's Republic of the Proletariat Masses would be pleased to provide a token force of one mechanized regiment of soldiers of the PRPM Army in an effort to forge new diplomatic relations with what it hopes is the stronger nation. This regiment is equipped with AK-47s, SVDs, PKMs, and similar small arms, and the mechanized portion consitsts primarily of T-55 MBTs and BMP-1 CFVs.

No thankyou... I'm sure we have enough good samitians to make this work and I wouldn't want anyone to lose any more forces then they have to.

However, should you want to start diplomatic relations you could just ask, you don't need donations of military forces to look good, just a calm and friendly manner.

Night guys, I'm tired. I would ask you that we don't start any military action (if any) until tomorrow... though I'm not in control of your nation and you can do as you like.

Should you want the go ahead to mobilise some forces, just make sure that it's nothing huge for now, just enough to make it clear that we don't want any fuss. Don't engage unless either you or Benicus are fired upon... in which case I'm sure you will act as you see fit.

However, actions speak louder than words, and though everyone certainly hopes that this problem can come to a peaceful conclusion, we would nevertheless be pleased to provide military aid should you have need of it.

The Holy Empire of Hatchibombitar announces today the establishment of formal diplomatic relations with the Benicians. We are pleased to announce that arrangements for a close air support and air-to-sea training exercise are also underway; said exercise is intended to duplicate the defense of Benicius from a seaborne invasion force. While no information about force deployments has been issued as yet, Defense Minister Obadiah Sistrunk has publicly noted his desire to provide advanced training for our F-22 Raptor wings.
