Lost Contact with Military Forces on Novarsk Island

Novgova

Recently, the breakaway People's Republic of West Novgova rejoined Novgova willingly. However, approx. 15,000 to 25,000 West Novgovan military personnel still haven't responded to orders from the Parliament nor former West Novgovan officials. The highest-ranking West Novgovan officer on the island, Maj. General Bronov, has also not respnded to orders.

Recent satellite runs over the West Novgovan half of the island show full mobilization of troops, armored divisions, and naval detachments on the island. Novgovan troops, officials and even citizens have been permitted to cross the border to the West Novgovan half.

It is known that Maj. General Bronov is a strong supporter of Communism and it is known that he did not approve of the democratic reforms to the West Novgovan government which led West Novgova down a democratic path and caused West Novgova to rejoin the democratic Novgova. Novgovan and allied military personnel on the island is at a peacetime number of only 2,000 (The rest of the military is on the mainland. They are not fully mobilized an it would take 4 days to transport them to the island).

If anyone can help the island Novarsk it would be greatly appreciated. It is feared the island will be overrun if the renegade West Novgovan forces attack the rest of the island. :)

Sincerely,
Secretary Bronislav,
Minister of Defense (Novgova)
