Kazakhstanian Heavy Tank Contract
Kazakhstania

Kazakhstania is starting a Heavy Tank Project. This project, however, has a difference. We are, for the first time, starting an open heavy tank project.
Currently, we have two tank companies creating their own tanks. In fact, protype versions are been created already.
But now, we are looking out to the world to see what it has to offer. We are after a heavy battle tank, with new technology and a decent design. However, you must be willing for us to modify it, to include our own systems and possible gun. in reality, we are just looking for a tank frame.
So, lets get going. I will keep you up to date on how our tanks are doing, while I look at yours.
Firstly, must have:
150mm+ Electro thermal Chemical Cannon
700mm+ Thick Armor
Nice and big :)
Here are our concepts:

C&C Generals :)
Civ 3!!
Technicals!! Try Missile Defender filled Humvee. With a Pathfinder in, of course. Or Overlord, but those are slow :(
Anyway, its a Crusader and a Paladin :)

Parlim is greatly interested in the design of these tanks, if we provide financial support, supplies, and R&D Labs, can you provide us with production (not to sell, but to include in our military) rights?

If you join the project, yes.
That is if you participate and offer some stuff :)
We will gladly participate. our tank designs aren't amazing but sufficiant. I'll post my design once I can fing a pic.
The nation of Ehrenlegion shall help. With our huge and extremely powerful automotive industry we can offer much. Expect to have a design in a few days. Good day. :D

From: Jack Beckam, Minister of Defense
Subject: Juumanistran interest in the Heavy Tank Project
Two of our defense contractors, Khevron Drives and Rantheea Defense Systems, have expressed interest in this project. The former, obviously, has a fair amount of experience with tank engines and other components in the drive train. The latter is the producer of Juumanistra's chief tank, the JT-22. They have a history of producing tanks that are both fast[off-road speed of at least 40mph] and heavily armored[700mm+] tanks are more than willing to invest in this venture.
They will be behind a bit of a learning curve, though. While experienced with heavy tanks, the Juumanistran Army still employs conventional main guns. They'd like to procure a few electrochemical chemical cannons to play catch up to fulfill the design specifications.
If you join the project, yes.
That is if you participate and offer some stuff :)
Confirmed. We will aid you in every means possible. Right now, a sum of 1 Billion New Merits is being wired to you. Cargo planes converted to mobile R&D laboratories are on their way, loaded down with supplies.

Again, you can help.
Please, in the future, say which project you would rather support.
The guys making the 1st Proto are experienced and have the goverment backing.
The 2nd guys are the newcomers, but have been workign on it for a while.
Hey Kazakhstania, I'm sure the outcome will be something that I will buy a lot of :P Have fun.
I am sure we will. There are two, and only one shall be sold :)

Note: Although its not in the stats this tanks does meet your requirements.
Largentian Eagle tank(LA tank)
stats:
Dimensions:
Weight: 60 tons
length (gun forwards) 8.66 m
length (over hull) 7 m
length of track on ground 4.3 m
width (over tracks) 3.4 m
width (over gill armour panels) 3.6 m
track 2.8 m
height (over turret roof) 1.2 m
ground clearance 451 mm
Armament:
150 mm SB-NTC Electro-Thermal Chemical Cannon :The projectile is loaded into the barrel, behind which there is a "propellant", which is a dot of light metal (solid or liquid). A powerful electromagnetic force is applied to the metal, which causes its atoms to "switch" directions. This happens so violently that the metal turns to plasma, and this expanding gas then drives the projectile forward. Since the cannon is built into a turret, it can rotate 360-degrees and can aim upwards 32 degrees and -7 degrees.
Range: 3.5 miles (5.6 km).
Rounds stored: 18 on autoloader system, 16 on autoloader re-loader belt, and 24 stored rounds
The cannon is stabilised on double axis' and can fire on the move.
Rate of Fire: 16 rounds per minute
Ammunition- Can effectively use any type of ammunition (in 150mm) as long as the round's own propellant (and casing) is removed.
Special Amunition Created for this tank:
Eagle shell, it is built to act as a VERY small cruise missle that is highly explosive. It is built to track its victim up to half an hour once in range of it but only remains effective for about 20 minutes max. Once it catches its target in uses a depleted uranium tip to enter it where it explodes with a 75 ft radius.
Secondary weapons
12.7 mm anti-aircraft cannon
7.62mm coaxial cannon
10 smoke grenade launchers
ATGM slides (can mount ATGMs as well as ATGM pods)
Negotiable Obstacles:
gradient 32 deg
side slope 30 deg
trench 2.85 m
Fording depth
with OVPT snorkel 5.8 m
Speed and Endurance
Road speed unpaved 70 - 100 km/hour
paved 90 - 100 km/hour +
maximum 110 km/hour
Fuel endurance
unpaved road 900 km (main fuel tanks)
1100 km (with extra fuel drums)
Note: One of the guns meantioned is based off of a Soviet Bloc design. These tanks WILL NOT be sold and and are strictly under the use of Largent only but people in this project may use it for ideas but may not use the design without buying a tank from Soviet Bloc.
O.k so what prototype do you want me on and who is on my development team or am I in it alone?
My researchers have arived, and has requested a Initial UHBT Concept prototype be sent to the airstrip (A secure location) for them to work on.

No no no!
He wishes to join the project!
All he has to do is choose which prototype, and work will begin!
Largent, sorry but your tank isnt quite the groundbreaking vehilce we thought of :)
The scientists have began work on the prototype.

Ah, forget it.
The deal is off.
We will develop it on our own, and decide which version to use.
Unless you have something to contribute, I will do this on my own and this will be the dev thread.

We will look forward to the release of your tank and are sorry that our assitance was not needed. Guten Tag.

Mobility.
The Noviastanian goverment expresses interest in this project in efforts to modernize Noviastan's helplessly outdated military and to give a boost in the econmy. Noviastan, lacking reaserch labs can pledge support by leasing unused factories in preperation for mass production of the new tank when it leaves prototype stage, Noviastan wishes to neigotiate a contract of leaseing factories and other needed equipment or faciulties.
Kazakhstania
31-01-2004, 21:34
Noviastan, we would love for you to help.
First, we wish to send roughly 10 men to survey the factories.
Very well, we shall continue with our present project

Are you strictly very near-future? If not, we've an older design that could be revamped.
Certaintly not the most mobile thing, but it was designed for defence; to hold ground rather than take it. With newer materials, however, we should be able to cut a quarter off the weight and improve speed, making it a much more versatile combat platform.
