Young nation seeks Aerospace expertise-Transports.

Nuevo Kowloon
28-01-2004, 08:11
shot of beautiful mountains, panning to the left, to reveal a woman standing on the side of the road, her back to the camera.
Woman turns, and we see she is around 25, of some asiatic ethnicity (but not real clear which), and rather attractive as far as the media standard in the Industrialized world is concerned...

"Hello, I am Amanda Ngo, Chancellor of Nuevo Kowloon, a growing, healthy nation and member of the international community.
This-" She gestures, and the camera pans, revealing a construction project that had been out of the field of view just a moment ago...
"This is soon to be my nation's first dedicated Military-only airfield, here in the beautiful Da Nang Valley. It is going to be a first-class facility able to handle very heavy aircraft. There is only one, small, problem..."
The camera follows her as she begins walking.
"We haven't got any heavy-lift Logistical aircraft to land here. Sure, running Fighter-bombers is no problem-after all, there are so many selling so many, that they must surely be non-difficult to operate for many other nations... but we're not looking for fighter-bombers."
She stops in front of something, the camera pans.
The "Something" is a main-battle tank-and not an old one, either.
"We need something that can carry two of these, and land on that-there airfield you saw my people working on. Actually, to be more precise, we need quite a few somethings about that size, in order to deal with commitments made by my predecessor to other nations."
Camera zooms to close-up.

"We are looking for bids from established manufacturers, refurbishment companies, and contractors for Heavy-Lift Air-Transport craft with medium to short-field capability in the 100 to 170 ton cargo throw-weight class, a minimum of 5000 mile range on one load of JP-4, Ideally, these craft should be American FAA compliant-as our tools are inch-pattern here.
The contract will go to the bidder whose proposal, capability, and price, most nearly match our needs.
Thank you for your attention."

End Tape.
