Extensive trials carried out by Imperial Armaments in Roycelandia and Colonial Arms in Roycelandian East Africa have led to the introduction of a new Sidearm from both Imperial and Colonial troops.
The Colonial Arms "Tiger" revolver performed outstandingly in all tests, including accuracy, reliability, ease of operation, stopping power, ease of repair, and durability.
Featuring an 8-shot .357 Magnum cylinder revolving around a 12-gauge shotgun barrel, the Tiger Service Revolver will be issued to all troops over the next few weeks.
Early field tests have been unanimously positive, with one Corporal bringing down an African Lion with the gun, after being ambushed in the Jungles near the Congo River Research Facility, in Southern Africa.
The Standard Longarm for Imperial and Colonial forces remains the Mk III SMLE .303 Rifle for most troops, and the No 5 Jungle Carbine .303 for Troops stationed in the Jungles of Roycelandian East Africa.
Colonial Armaments is also considering offering the Tiger for sale, pending expressions of interest from the international community.
OOC: Before anyone says "You can't have a shotgun and a pistol in one!", I refer you the the 8mm/12 gauge LeMat Revolver, used by the Confederacy in the US Civil War. So there. :D
