The Zoogie People looks for the best items you've got.

The Zoogie People
25-01-2004, 03:14
This is primarily OOC, though there's some IC mixed in.

The Zoogie People will not be able to go online as often as it would have liked, mostly for reasons of a tight schedule. Our storefront will still be operational, and our region active. The storefront will probably be updated weekly.

However, The Zoogie People is looking for several storefronts that they know they can get top-of-the-line products from. For future reference, several storefronts will be chosen and favorited, and become my primary outlets of military import in certain areas.

If you're Kazakhstania, Doujin, Great Mateo, Tokarev, Hontah, or Northrop-Grunnman, you don't need to post here.

As far as aircraft goes, The Zoogie People has an extensive military aerospace industry. However, every once in a while we'll find some foreign products that we will use to complement our own - Kazakhstania's F-42s and A-15s, for instance. Other aircraft that we look to buy include AWACs, Cargo's, Tankers, Reconaissance, Electronic Warfare, and lots and lots of helicopters of all kinds. We also don't have any plans for a heavy bomber, and so you can post if you're interested in offering a heavy bomber. Real-life aircraft we take interest in include: F-22, MiG-1-42/44 (MiG-35 for some of you), Su-37, Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafale M, F/A-18E/F SuperHornet, F-15E, Su-34, F-117, B-1B, F-35A/B/C, C-17, and B-2A. Best prices will be selected for further reference.

As for a navy, if you're offering a battleship, we won't take it unless it's got something special. Battleships are obsolete in our navy. Every battleship in the US navy is now retired. We are interested in light aircraft carriers, amphibous assault ships like the wasp, special heavy aircraft carriers (like the Nimitz and above), anything with the word 'stealth' in it, destroyers, cruisers, and nuclear-powered SSN's and SSBN's. Also being looked at are landing ships, fleet supply ships, and transports.

In addition, our coastguard (we are situated in isles) are looking for missile patrol boats, especailly stealthy ones, minesweepers, and patrol submarines.

For our army, we have recently acquired several tank contracts. Therefore, we are not in heavy need of tanks - but there are so many different types of army supplies that we're still open for most parts. Our soldiers are equipped with the advanced FIST system, with a few of our upgrades tacked on, and more upgrades for different groups of soldiers (special forces, night missions, guerilla warfare, etc). Therefore, most infantry equipment put on the soldier are unnecessary. The M-16 machine gun is a part of FIST and so we do not require more machine guns. Mortars, self-propelled howitzers, AAA, SAM, APC's, and pretty much anything you can think of, we will look into. If you think you've got a reeeeeeeeally special tank, we might be interested.

The Zoogie People will also be making its venture into nuclear technology. As a nation, we realize that nuclear deterrence is important, and that we will have to commence in nuclear research. We are looking to produce a and maintain a fair amount (maybe up to eight hundred, depending on my nation's growing population) of ICBM's, medium-ranged ballistic missiles, missile defense systems, and guided nuclear gravity bombs. If any of you wish to share bits of your technology or donate to our nuclear experimental research/development program, we would appreciate it.

We realize our nuclear weapons program goes against our previous stance on weapons of mass destruction, but we feel this is a necessary step to maintaining a level of deterrence. The use and production of these will be strictly watched and regulated. We never plan to use them unless absolutely necessary.

Thank you for your time. Again, in case you've forgotten what this thread was about in all my endless rambling  I'm looking for several storefronts to place on future reference. Not necessarily storefronts - individual products are alright.

And there's a short-term carrot for you as well. Chinese Army, a handy puppet I've gained from a friend who left NS, has $800 billion in surplus military to spend on these storefronts right away.

After initial review Chinese Army will purchase (not posting w/CA because I'm too lazy :P) 20,000 Holy Hand Grenades of Antioch - please provide with the box as well. We believe the amazing homage system and light blast will enable our soldiers to attack effectively in tight positions without getting themselves blown to pieces. $10 million.

Upon further review, it would also like to purchase one hundred LBS Untouchables. They're expensive, but in our view unbelieveably effective and worth it. Expect more orders, maybe even weekly, in the future.

We would like to inform you that your aircraft, flying at 100k feet, is slightly dubious, as are two-inch cannons (considering the trouble it takes for most air frames to sustain a 30mm cannon and still have more than 150 bullets)

Also bump.

Ummm.... I might have something to offer.

Halifax-class destroyer/frigates (the Canadian navy classifies it as a frigate although the international community classifies it as a destroyer)

Its a multipurpose vessel that has seen action all over the world (RL), and provides the backbone of the Canadian navy (yeah yeah... laugh all you want but its the most reliable vessel we have)

Perhaps your nation would be interested in a project that my Region is developing... We have confidence that it will bring about a very large impact in the field of infantry combat. Our planned system is a lightweight visor, which will offer its user a wide array of information, as well as visual systems enhancement. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117969)

Furthermore, we are developing two naval ships in conjunction with Unum Veritas, and expect its completion soon. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2598234&highlight=#2598234)

OOC: We would sell, but with the Chinese Army being PLA, they'd probably use my own weapons against me.

OOC: I'll post here when I get a permanent storefront.

While cross-strait tensions are at an all time high, we have decided to open our civilian aerospace industry while barring military technologies from the PLA.

Virgin UltraCruise
Image (http://my.execpc.com/~culp/space/concorde.jpg)
A supersonic civilian air transport designed to replace the Concorde. Features fly-by-wire, low maintenance costs, and the most important feature, the ability to supercruise.

Whereas the Concorde required afterburners to reach it's crusing speed of Mach 2, The UltraCruise can reach it's cruising speed of Mach 1.6 without the use of afterburners, making it more economic to operate.

The UltraCruise uses 35% Airbus parts, resulting in lower maintenance costs due to commonality.

Length: 72m
Wingspan: 64m
Max Passengers (Business class seating): 160
Speed: Mach 1.6
Powerplant: Six MK-2 Turbofans
Thrust: 33,000 lbs

Cost: $230m

Virgin S-300
A state-of-the-art airliner bringing levels of efficiency previously only available to large UWB airlines to a short-range airliner. Uses around 10% less fuel than the Boeing 7E7, resulting in higher profits. Also uses around 40% Airbus parts.

Length: 49m
Wingspan: 48m
Max Passengers (Economy): 300
Max Passengers (Business): 200
Speed: Mach 0.8
Powerplant: Two MK-1 Ultra-High Bypass Turbofans
Thrust: 45,000 lbs

Cost: $140m

Virgin S-500
A modern Ultra-Wide-Body airliner to rival the Airbus 380 and the Boeing 747-400. Large passenger capacity helps ease congestion at busy airports. Also uses less fuel than the Airbus 380 due to the use of the MK-1 Ultra High Bypass Turbofans

Length: 73m
Wingspan: 72m
Max Passengers (Economy): 900
Max Passengers (Business): 650
Speed: Mach 0.8
Powerplant: Three MK-1 Ultra-High Bypass Turbofans
Thrust: 45,000 lbs

Cost: $210m

Virgin S-700 BWB
A massive airliner featuring the Blended-Wing-Body design, which results in a larger volume per length, and reduced drag.

Length: 73m
Wingspan: 157m
Max Passengers (Economy): 1200
Max Passengers (Business): 850
Speed: Mach 0.8
Powerplant: Four MK-1 Ultra-High Bypass Turbofans
Thrust: 45,000 lbs

Cost: $320m

Virgin S-900 WIG
An ultra-sized water take-off/landing airline designed to take advantage of the WIG effect, leading to almost 50% reduced drag and increased efficientcy. The sheer size of the S-900 means that fuel use per passenger is much lower. The operating cost of each seat is a mere $75 across the Atlantic.

Length: 390m
Wingspan: 420m
Max Passengers (Economy): 4,800
Max Passengers (Business): 3,400
Speed: Mach 0.6
Powerplant: Eight MK-2 Ultra-High Bypass Turbofans

Juumanistra
26-01-2004, 03:20
For years, the Dominion of Juumanistra has been building itself a niche export capacity. With a glut of advanced fighter producers and our relative simplicity(we’ve still got a few squadrons of highly modified Mig-21/23s and F-4s on active duty), we’ve ramped up production of support aircraft that rarely find their way to the market nowadays. We took our flagship commercial jetliner, Reght Aerospace’s Model 455, and created a series of reliable and versatile support craft, as Boeing did with its 767. And, since they share a common design, the Model 455 series of military aircraft are incredibly easy to care for, as most of their vital systems are identical.

Ca-455 Big Mac
Crew: 4
Maximum Take-Off Weight: 678,457 lb.
Cruising Speed: 584 mp/h
Range: 3000 mi.[loaded]/7000 mi.[empty]
Payload: 200 troops, 115 paratroopers or 195,000 lb. of cargo
The Ca-455 boasts a radically different exterior from the Model 455 and its military derivatives, the Ta-455, MG-455, and EA/G-455, with a far more bulbous and low-set profile to allow for roll-on/roll-off capability. The Ca-455 comprises the backbone of the Juumanistran Air Force’s lifting capacity, with well over 200 currently in service. Like the C-17, the Ca-455 can use most conventional runways and maintains maintenance compatibility with the rest of the Model 455 series of military aircraft.
Cost: $175,000,000 USD

Ta-455 Nursemaid
Crew: 4
Weight: 421,138 lb.
Cruising Speed: 584 mp/h
Range: 7000 mi.
Payload: 225,000 lb. of fuel
The tanker incarnation of the Model 455, the only mainstream tanker than can hold a candle to the Ta-455 is the KC-767. And, with a cheaper price tag, the Ta-455 has a distinct advantage.
Cost: $165,000,000 USD

MG-455 Chessmaster
Crew: 12
Weight: 421,138 lb.
Cruising Speed: 584 mp/h
Range: 7000 mi.
The Chessmaster fulfills Juumanistra’s need for an electronic warfare platform. Capable full-spectrum interception and jamming, as well full-spectrum broadcast of your nation’s propaganda, the MG-455 serves as a one-stop shop for all of your electronic warfare needs.
Cost: $400,000,000 USD

EA-455 Spyglass
Crew: 22
Weight: 421,138 lb.
Cruising Speed: 584 mp/h
Range: 7000 mi.
The Spyglass is Juumanistra’s premiere early warning system. Capable of detecting and tracking targets within a 250 mile radius, as well as providing a sturdy airborne command-and-control center, the Spyglass is the quintessential eye-in-the-sky.
Price: $350,000,000 USD

EG-455 Lighthouse
Crew: 22
Weight: 421,138 lb.
Cruising Speed: 584 mp/h
Range: 7000 mi.
The ground-tracking equivalent to the Spyglass, it is Juumanistra’s answer to the E-8 JSTARS platform.
Price: $350,000,000 USD

[That's the short version; I can do bigger stat dumps if they're needed. Half of the time, though, they're nearly useless.]
The Zoogie People
26-01-2004, 03:32
Alright, then, Chinese Army will order

150 Ta-455 Tanker @165m
300 MG-455 ECM @400m
250 EA-455 AWACS @350m
200 EG-455 ... Different AWACS @350m

$346 billion in all.

Look here for advanced bombers (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=124155)

EB-52 Megafortress

Better stealth, speed and payload then B-2 with much more effective and numerous active decoys and highpowered jamming. VERY costly but well worth every dollar.

EB-1C Megafortress II

More expensive then the EB-52 but with increased stealth and internal compacity, also faster. Includes all features of the EB-52 not said as well.

Plus the Lancelot missile, a ABM that can actually be relied upon but expensive and only able to be carried by the EB-1C.

CK-ROC offers Zoogie a newly designed VIP transport jet - being extremely roomy, the UltraCruise II offers travellers fully reclining beds, larger WCs, shower and changing facilities, and even a cybercafe.

UltraCruise II
With advances in turbofan technologies, a larger and more economical version of the Ultracruise can now be developed. New sonic boom dimnishment technologies have resulted in changes to the airframe and reduces noise levels by around 50%.

Length: 92m
Wingspan: 87m
Max Passengers (Business class seating): 300
Max Cargo: 40 tonnes
Speed: Mach 1.6
Powerplant: Six MK-2 PDE Assisted Turbofans
Thrust: 45,000 lbs

Cost: $530m
