My fellow citizens,


Several minutes ago there was a tragic event in Montsegur, our capital city. A Boeing 747 was hijacked shortly after takeoff from Montsegur International Airport. The plane flew out of the city, gaining speed and quickly changed direction, headed back towards the city center. At 9:38 PM, contact was lost with Flight 345 several minutes before it crashed into the Coleman Bank Colliseum. There was a soccer game being played there at the time. Roughly 56,000 people were in attendance. The death toll is rumored to be over 10,000 with many more injured. As of now nothing is known about who perpetrated the attack. But they will be found, and they will be brought to justice. The cowards that have commited this atrocity will never be safe, as long as they are pursued by the Republic of New Kingman. We will stop at no length to deliver justice to our enemies. Thank You and Good Night.

The names of the hijackers have been released. They are Dimitri Antunov, Anatoliy Dhezkov, and Boris Tchialinsky. These are also the names of three Red Guard soldiers in New Caucasia. We believe that the New Caucasian Government is behind this attack. We have contacted their premier and have yet to recieve a response.

Early this morning during and emergency session of Parliament, a declaration of war was passed 72-28 in the Senate and 408-92 in the House of Representatives. As of now 20,000 troops are en route to New Caucasia. More will be arriving daily.

There is an official body count for the attack. But this is only counting the people that have been rescued from the stadium. The Count is 11,764 dead and 29,835 injured. 752 firefighters, police officers and emergency personnel are missing.

We claim full responsibility for the attack. It appears to be a success. We recognize your declaration of war and will respond. We will stop at nothing to destroy Kingman.

150,000 troops have been amassed at the border and are awaiting orders. When the declaration of war is signed by the President the war will begin.

Early this morning forces from all branches of the New Kingman forces began engaging Caucasian forces. Most of the fighting is centralized off the coast and at the borders. Massive airstrikes have crippled key military targets. Among these targets are the presidential palaces and other government facilities in the Capital. Forces in New Kingman have seized the New Caucasian Embassy in downtown Montsegur.

The Tsurani have been finding terrirest all over the empire and have killed all of them. We have a special unit called Caladorian Jihad. these will send 100 of their number to assist you in flushing out the terriorsts.

Argyllia is shocked by this blatant terrorism, in parliment the prime minister was heckled by MP's for not declaring war. Later in the day a vote was ordered and by a 154 - 37 majoirity war was approved.

Early this morning 100 thousand troops, 10% of the force currently in New caucasia, entered the capital city of Kalinsky. It is estimated that there are over 1 million Caucasian soldiers guarding the city and that targets are heavily emplaced, as are major roadways. The fight ahead is going to be a tough one, but we shall prevail.

Hattia is appalled at this act of cowardly terrorism. Unfortunately we cannot commit military forces at this time, but we would like to assist with cruise missile strikes on the New Caucasia capital. We would also like to donate 10 million USD to the victims of the terrorist attack.

New Kingman forces have penetrated the emplacements surrounding downtown Kalinsky. Roughly 60% of the city is in our control. So far in this war 1,678 soldiers have been killed.

This is not a religious issue. This act of terrorism was not religiously motivated.

Several minutes ago The Caucasian Premier's armored motorcade was spotted moving fast towards the border. The motorcade was intercepted 2 miles from the border. President Andropov and the upper echelons of the government were in the 18 car convoy. The convoy was attacked by 8 Special forces teams and 4 Comanche Attack helicopters. The Caucasian Premier and his cabinet are dead. Victory has been declared in this war. Starting immediately troops will be heading back home and and power will be turned over to a civilian governing council. From there the council will determine the fate of the nation.
