looking for nuclear warheads for icbm

23-01-2004, 19:29
the Holy empire of SRI is looking for nuclear warheads to be installed on icbms. We need powerful ones to enlarge our arsenal. We have a large number of low powered ones (like 20kt-10mt) but we are looking for warheads of more than 56mt. Thank you.

30 icbm 15 Kt warheads are $50,000,000 US.

Again...There are hundreds upon hundreds of various types of ICBM's. I could sell you warheads, but I'm not sure they would fit your missiles.

sam, just assume they're the right size. It's much easier to buy them without all the technical blah blah...

Why not just assume it's possible to carry MOABs on a Spitfire?
As soon as you start ignoring little things like facts then the entire system collapses under a mass of godmodery.

haven't you got something MORE powerful, like a 60 mt one??
We can build our self the best icbm for every warhead. We have a large space/military agency

Yes, but assuming they are the right size would also assume they are the same price...this is not true. Not all nuclear (ballistic) missiles cost the same.

OOC: You can't read.

I said that bombsize in ICBM's should be named, because you get a load of technical which is pointless. And what has godmode to do with less technical talk? And I never said that you can place moabs under a spitfire... Don't jump into conclusions before reading a post smartass.

IC: I have 60 mt warheads. price per warhead is $100,000,000 US

Your only mention of warhead sizes was to say "Lets just assume they're the right size". There is a weight limit to the type of warhead that can be carried. A V3 for instance, would carry a much smaller warhead than a Minuteman, just a Spitfire would carry a much smaller bomb than the MOAB. While you didn't mention Spitfires, I used it as analogy. It's a way of proving a point without going into too much detail, which alas I appear forced to do.
Lack of technical details isn't godmoding in itself, but it can lead to godmoding. For instance, say I build a new bomber, but don't specify its payload. That in itself is not godmoding. I then sell the bomber to person B, and because there is no limit in the payload, Person B is then able to use the bomber to carry several hundred tonnes of ordanance half way round the world. That would be godmoding. Do you see?

OOC: A mere 100 mil for a 60 megatonne warhead? When I sold 'em it was 2 billion for a ten megatonne warhead.
And I wouldn't say a 10 meg one was low powered. Those nations without the capability to defend themselves from ICBMs would be decimated by a 5 meg one. Uber-large nations such of myself can easily intercept ICBMs before they become a threat.

The Community of Anarchovia has internationally condemed the selling and proliferation of all nuclear weapons. We call on all nations of all regions to sign an international treaty to destroy all nuclear weapons and ban there proliferation.

What can I say... it's a comfort...

Of course, I too would have expected nuclear weapons of much lower capacity to be sold for much more money, afterall, a thermo-nuclear device could easily cost hundreds of million just to produce... never mind the long amount of time it takes to produce each one.

Another note: Most nuclear weapons owned by America and Russia average at around 600 Kiloton Yields, or 0.6 Megatons... so the idea of willingly selling weapons with a yeild ten times that of the average yield seem a little much to give a small nation.

Bit of duct tape and a good hammer and you'll be right.
