News Item: Biological Weapons Dumped on Student Protesters

22-01-2004, 10:46
Gahesh Virawan from Al-Hamaznrye Television reporting live from the Al'Jaro Liberation and Re-Education Square in downtown Banglebuk near the glorious supreme leader's winter palace. Tens of thousands of students amassed in the early morning hours to protest the alleged resolution from the UN regarding money for human organs.

With signs that read "No Guts for Glory" and "Money for Hearts is Murder", the student protesters' march lasted a full seven minutes before Palace Guards launched Sarin gas cannisters into the crowds.

Gangs of organ looters rushed into the dying crowd hoping to cut out hearts and other vital organs, but they met with the same grisly fate as the student protesters.

Commander Ja-eef Cuhulain of the Hamaznrye Secret Police, when asked about the incident in the L&R Square, said quote "Well, one thing's for sure. If the presiding student union had applied for the proper protest march permits this might have been avoided."

When reminded by a colleague that protests are illegal in Hamaznrye, Cuhulain said flatly, "Duh! I'm the one who invented that law."

President Takeo Katana was watching the televised report of the attack on the protestors in shock. He quickly called a conference together and addressed the international community.

"Larkinia would like to denounce the use of Sarin gas on people doing nothing more than acting upon a god given right to speak out against what they see as wrong. For the military to use, of all things, Sarin gas on the protestors instead of trying to disburse them without resorting to something so horrifying, is a crime against the people of Hamaznrye and humanity in full!

"We ask other nations of the world to rebuke this... thing leading the secret police and demand an independant investigation be started to examine their actions."

I, Legolas GreenLeaf, am inclined to agree.Protesters have the right to protest without the use of such waepons.

We agree, they (the students) have the right to protest.........but we also think the government of Hamaznrye has the right to enforce their laws how they want to.

Of course we don't really care what happens to the fools in Hamaznrye, so long as they keep it within their boarders(sp?) and don't try and tell us what to do. May I suggest that everyone who cares about this put in place trade restrictions between thier nation and his and leave it at that.

The Incorporated States of MitsubishiSonyLockheed wishes to inform the Republic of Hamaznrye that it is willing to accept any population transfers that would be necessary to avoid a repeat of this incident. We have a very capable citizenry that is well-trained in military manners, and can provide all your outsourcing needs for the detention of your criminals and enemies of the state. If any other states have a large prison population that they find is becoming a burdedn to their state, we are willing to negotiate a extradition treaty to allow for their transfer to our supervision.

Hamaznrye my nation is recieving reports that tourists from my nation were cault up in that protest. The credible reports are informing us that a number of these tourists were killed although numbers are not confirmed. If these are found to be true you will become a target for regime change as The Federation of Law2k views agents being used to prevent free speach unaceptable. The Confederate Tribunal of Allied Nations will be holding a emergancy meeting shortly and deciding if a co-alition force should be sent to Hamaznrye.

The use of Sarin gas on civilians is completely abhorrent, however, we will not stand idly by as a mostly-innocent nation is attacked under a pretext of losing its "tourists" who just happened to protest against the government. Whatever fate befell those sabatoeurs and inciters, they deserved it.

We stand ready to protect Hamaznyre from any unprovoked attack. Those nations that claim their citizens were lost must first prove their claims in an independent investigation before they declare war!

wishes to make a statement on behalf of the Supreme Leader Sahib Al'Jaro:

"While the unfortunate turn of events in Banglebuk has painted an ugly picture of Hamaznrye, the most holy Sahib Al'Jaro wants the world to know that the victims of the Sarin gas attack were not students but in fact highly trained agitators in a revolutionary movement known as the 'Democratic Underground Militia Brigade'. Hamaznrye will not tolerate dissention from any of its citizens. Glory be to the One Creator."

Fine but when my citizens are killied in a dispicable act of murder I will not sit by and let it happen. The meeting will decide whether we attack not some pokzy nation who wants to protect another nation who gasses their own people. Law2k and The Confederate Tribunal of Allied Nations will not be threatend.

What a pity, this shows just how weak Hamaznrye has become, in the old days they would have eliminated the key element before the protest would have started. Such a shame ....

We agree that the use of the weapons was more than neccessary, but a nation can, as some else said, enforce their laws how they want. Just try not to use WMDs on them next time. Just tear gas or something...
22-01-2004, 20:30
23-01-2004, 09:18
There is quite a big difference between WMDs and teargas. One kills people the other does not.
I don't get it why are you all defending his actions and saying 'Pretty please Hamaznrye if you would try hard.... it doen't matter if you don't... so don't get angry....buttt.... in the future not to gas your ...um.. people...it would make us feel better....but you don't have to cause we're scared'
Your all cowwwards.
O and the meeting at the moment tends to be favourig co-alition millitary actions against your nation Hamaznrye.

if this action took place near a tourist attraction then it is highly likely that there were tourists caught up in the attack. How on earth would it be possible to cofine a gas to a specific area. I believe tha may other nations may have lost citizen sto this action.

The Government of Afsania, wishes to pass on the feelings of its citizens. As a country who's ideals are based upon the freedom of scientific progress, we would like to express our concern for the treatment of the students. While we understand that not all contries function the way we do, we have realised that the students hold the future of our country. They hold our past, present and future. Could the leaders of Hamaznrye not have listen to the ideas that their own youth have to say?
