The Dominion of Skager would consider purchasing a limited amout of these units, if information were provided on the legs. $800,000,000 is a lot of money for something that can potentially be taken out by say a 120mm gun.

(OOC:Hmmmm......a storefront in the mall eh?)

As you can see from the pictures, the legs are fairly thick with protected joints. They were designed with just that in mind.

(OOC: I didn't make the pictures though......)

Tell me something ...

if you're EXPORTING these, and the armor type isn't classified - HOW IS THE QUANTITY CLASSIFIED?!
if I purchased one, I could just LOOK at it and determine how much armor it has! They must have maintenance sometime and then it would be trivial to see.

The Dominion has throughly checked the provided pictures and is not convinced that the unit could take one or more 120mm rounds to their legs. Perhaps the "Rex" could, but those legs seem not to very mobile, and the exposed equipment on the "Zeus" is troubling. The Dominion has decided that such units would be a liability and not worth the money.

The Empire of Cyrodiilia questions the reliablity of these mechs. What would happen if one got knocked over?

Magical gyros of Rightiness would turn it rightside up.
27-01-2004, 16:33
i;m sure theyr developing an even larger crane equipped recvocery mech for just that eventuality :P

as for the zeus's armor or lack there of... it seems to be intended for fire support not dirrect combat (at least thats my interpretatin of artilery cannon  )
Sigma Octavus
28-01-2004, 05:23
(Okay, question answering time. I'm still fine tuning some of the stats on these. Took me forever for the metric measurements. Never said anything about quantity. Screw off. I took off all of the classified signs since you people brought me to realize that they were even there. Now the actual armor is there. Not really actual, just what I put on it. The Zeus is meant for support. I had that written somewhere......guess not on this page. Probably on the original Zeus thread. Now, stop questioning the merchandise.)
29-01-2004, 05:11
I will take 15 of each.... I am going to need them in the muffin war I'm in...
(:? ...um...dont ask) Money wired automatically on confermation.
