USSY's first Nuclear weapon
The USSY would like to announce that it has just built its first Nuclear bomb. The device is a small Fission bomb, it is capable of destroying a area of 1 kilometer.

your economy is struglling how could you build a nuclear weapon with crappy economy. last time ichecked you cant without it taking longer.

OOC: it is possible to buy uranium ore, but it is the purifying process that increases the value of said uranium in order to make it weapons ready

Roycelandia is currently supporting Yatonsa's Defence Forces, in return for a very lucrative trade deal.
Most of the Yatonsan Defence Forces are armed with Martini Henry .303 rifles, with some Gatling Guns, with the air force consisting of a few squadrons of Camel Biplanes and a squadron of Spitfires. The costs of equipping, training, and supplying these forces is entirely handled by Roycelandia, conceivably freeing up funds for a Nuclear Research Program. That was not the point of our Treaty of Protection, however...
As such, Roycelandia effectively runs the Yatonsan Military, and whilst we support his acquisition of Atomic Weapons (he has been on about it for ages), we are unlikely to ever let him use them...
