Today, the Holy Principality of Rather Convenient and Allied States of Rotovia would like to announce a joint effort to obtain viable and practical FTL technology - by means of research, purchases, or other methods. Not only are we searching for forms of propulsion, but we are also on the look out for related technologies for space travel - Artificial gravity, for example.

Rotovia is currently seeking such technology for space exploration, as are we. We have decided to pool our resources together - both in terms of money and manpower. We have an undisclosed amount available for this project, and have agreed to share all benefits that result from this project.

We would like to openly request international assistance on this subject to help us peacefully expand into space. We are also willing to pay for this assistance, and hope that other space-faring nations will contact us soon.

OOC: Please keep this post-modern tech... Nothing too advanced. It would be appreciated if you posted here instead of TGing, so we could both see it.

In recognition of this new found alliance the Allied States of Rotovia has begun construction of a facilty to house scientists from both nations and hopefully, one day, begin construction on a working prototype.

At a cost of just under one billion dollars it will be outfitted with the very latest in technology and research equipment, including state-of-the-art facilties.

All of Rotovia's current research and experimental devices will be brought to the facility in anticipation for the begining of the joint-venture.
