General Perez
Government House
Revolution Square
Cayo City
It has been almost a year now since the Cayan Outer Islands were re-united with the Cayan homeland. The move was done with the support of the Island's population and has developed into a close relationship.
However, on Hoko Island a small minority of citizens who were opposed to the union have carried out terror attacks against their fellow citizens. The extreme, nationalist, Hoko Liberation League, have targeted areas of Hoko City and Cayo City in their quest to destroy the union.
I can announce now that a clamp-down on these extremists must take place. Cayan Intelligence Agents have been sent to Hoko Island to try to infultrate the movement.
Bank transfers and travel to and from Hoko Island will be severly restricted and monitored. An 8pm curfew will take place until further notice on the island. Also, police presence on Hoko shall be doubled and military checkpoints will be established in Hoko City.
These restrictions may appear harsh, and many innocent Hoko Islanders will be inconvinience because of them. However, terrorism on the island is getting out of control. I do not want Hoko Island turning into another Sicily. I will not have the island become over-run with terrorists. These new measures should help crush the movement on Hoko, quickly.
