-RNN (Romakian National News) Report-

January 20th, 2004 at Romakia's largest airport, the Rityovsk International Airport in the nation's capital of Romakia, proved to be a deadly day. Reports have flooded in that a terrorist group with no real designation or name has taken over the 36-acre facility and either killed or captured all tourists, personnel, and other civilians.

The incident started at roughly 9:51 A.M. when a Romakian Airways 737 took off from Runway B, as soon as it left the ground, missiles were seen streaking their way up to meet the aircraft's jet engines, crippling it and causing it to crash into a nearby residential district, presumably killing all onboard. At roughly 10:01 A.M. when police and rescue officials arrived on the scene, gun fire erupted among the rubble and all rescue personnel were killed. Six minutes later, an estimated 250 men armed with AK-style assualt rifles and other assorted armaments, stormed the airport and killed all security personnel.

They have set up defenses and completely garrisoned the airport, employing mortars to rain destruction on the nearby residential and commercial districs. An estimated 240 civilians are dead from the crash itself and the massacre that followed as well as another 1200 or so tourists, personnel, and other civilians that have been barricaded inside the airport with the terrorists. Romakia's small but able military has been deployed to the area but scattered reports are revealing that this operation was much more thought-out than previously thought, due to set-up ambushes in select areas which are completely devastating Romakia's old and outdated armor corps. Romakia's only amphibious ready group has been deployed with its 20 M-36 amphibious tanks to the shores roughly 1200 feet from the edge of the city.

It is also estimated that four international aircraft with at least 400 passengers were also captured at the airport, no identification is possible at this time on to who the aircraft belong to.

Six Romakian soldiers were killed and another four wounded. The units were able to take out the terrorists and reports indicate that twelve terrorists were killed.

Today, at roughly 1:20 in the afternoon, some three hours after the morning's terrifying events, the 1st Amphibious assault group was completely destroyed after being forced to retreat by circling around the city, en route it was ambushed by a terrorist force of 21 T-55s and T-62s which ravaged the M-36s that made up the 1st A.A.G. Reports indicate all tanks were destroyed or incapacitated with all Romakian soldiers being killed except four, of which two were severely wounded. All four were taken as prisoners and most likely executed. It is estimated some 14 terrorists were killed along with 11 tanks. There is no word on how the terrorists got ahold of the tanks, which were reported to have had Romakian Army insignia on them, although some speculate they were stolen from a Romakian base 14 miles away.

At 1:34 P.M., gunshots were heard inside the airport terminal as Romakian special operations forces penetrated the building, after the initial gunfire no more shots were heard, leading many to believe that the terrorists knew they were coming and set up an ambush at the entry point. At 1:45 P.M., the apparant leader of this terrorist group called out to the officials on the street using the airports PA system, and when some officials and soldiers emerged from their covered position, terrorist snipers opened fire and reportedly killed four soldiers as well as a police lieutenant, one soldier was wounded.

At 5:36 in the afternoon, numerous armored personnel carriers and other tanks were seen entering the capital of Romakia, all were heading towards the airport. When they came up to the gates of the airport, the terrorist guards let them in... Not long after, gunfire erupted and lasted for the better part of three minutes... Then, some five or six minutes later, the APCs were seen leaving the compound, upon closer inspection, the Romakian Military insignia was spray-painted over and replaced with an indistinguishable marking. The group of APCs and tanks were seen leaving the city after engaging a small force of Romakian soldiers, in which they killed four and wounded six, they proceeded towards the hills to the north of the city and disappeared, Romakian army helicopters lost sight of the units and could not engage.

After waiting twenty minutes, Romakian special forces and police stormed into the airport to find the bullet-ridden bodies of all the civilians inside, foreign or not. Upon closer inspection of the facility, a small pocket of terrorists were found and after a fierce gunbattle, two terrorists were dead and the other four were captured, also a single Romakian soldier was killed and another wounded. Romakian army officials had said they plan to torture these terrorists to the extreme to get information regarding their comrades and future plans.

After most of the military personnel left the main terminal and set up a perimeter, a single terrorist was found in the control tower outside, he was holding a remote detonator. Before anyone could stop him, he pressed the button on the crudely made device and the main area of the terminal erupted in a massive explosion, imploding in on the bodies of the dead and on some 56 aid workers as well as an estimated 20 Romakian soldiers and police. The terrorist in the control tower was shot and killed.

This day seems to be a dark, dark day in the history of Romakia with the most recorded civilian deaths at roughly 1800. Some sources say that this attack was well planned and needed maybe a year to completely map out, due to its well thought-out takeover of the airport and ambushes of military personnel at certain areas.

January 21st, 2004-

At 12:31 P.M., nearly a day after the horrific events of yesterday's terror strikes, a massive force of political seperatists and supposed communists stormed Romakia (Capital city, not the nation itself) and flooded into the streets, killing some 34 Romakian police and wounding another 21 officers. The force then raided a Romakian Army reserve armory located in the commercial district and armed themselves with newer model rifles and other weaponry. When a military force was dispatched to the area, a massive fight ensued. After two hours of heavy combat, fourteen Romakian army vehicles were destroyed along with 160 Romakian army personnel. The seperatist force suffered devastating losses, nearly 230 people were dead along with another 34 wounded. Sixteen civilians were also killed in the crossfire.

After the extended fire fight, the seperatist force stole three Romakian army vehicles, an SIV-21, a BMP-1, and a UAZ and drove to the capitol center, along the way they destroyed two Romakian internal security vehicles and killed four Romakian soldiers.

After arriving at the capitol, the 34 survivors of the firefight stormed the capitol center, killing 12 security personnel and four senators. After a prolonged absence of activity, a single gunshot was heard across every TV and radio in the nation, live from the Capitol, was the execution of Romakia's President... Too graphic for us to show you now. The seperatist leader has, since then, claimed to be Romakia's new leader... His name... Viktor Karvinsky. Following that announcement across national television, 14 minutes ago, was the televised and systematic execution of the 54 members of the Romakian parliament.

Today, is a sad day for the nation of Romakia... And we regret to inform you but... *Not another word could be uttered before four guerrila seperatists stormed into the room and opened fire, killing all inside... The camera was hit too and the transmission abruptly ended. *
