A five hundred yard stretch of the new Citadel wall with a single turret can be seen in the middle of Black Sands Desert. One hundred yards in front of the wall are several thousand Humans, Orcs, and Uruks, all well armed and dressed in (Scandavian) Imperium gear.

The moment that the turret on the left end of the wall begins to move the ragtag group gives a loud warcry and starts rushing forward. Assault rifle, machine gun, and sniper fire barks from nearly invisible portholes, about the only real effect against the Imperium-made combat uniforms are the snipers with their massive rifles firing equally massive rounds.

Meanwhile, the dual 155mm turret had already spit our several rounds that instead of exploding let out a clear aerosol that hung in the air, at least until the phosphorous in the shells reacted with the air, then the aerosol exploded with the force of explosives several hundred times its weight, a large chunk of the condemned group just disentegrated or was otherwise dismembered by the explosion.

What remained began to climb the sloped, metal shelled, thirty foot wall as one would climb a slide. When the majority of the remaining group had reached halfway up several vents opened and an opaque, white gas came out. Those first affected by the gas seemed to enter a euphoric state at first but then started screaming in terror and trying to find a way away from whatever terror they were seeing. Some slid down the walls instantly and were likewise cut down, still others tried to climb even further up the wall but still ended up at the base of the wall with the same result, cut down.

OOC: Nasty, isn't it? And before anyone cries civil rights violations, you should know a couple of things. One, we don't believe in cruel and unusual death sentences, and two, they all chose this punishment because they were truthfully told that if they managed to climb a wall they would go free. In case you're wondering, the gas used was a varient of LSD that was specifically engineered to induce "bad trips" and was mixed with a chemical that causes instantaneous and severe migraines, so those screams of terror, gunfire, and explosions will probably cause violent and/or erratic behavior. The 155mm shells are a variation of Fuel Air Explosives like the MOAB.

OOC: Though the phosphorus dissintegrating the people is always a fun defense

Interesting concept...

No concept, it's already being built. These tapes are just late releases to showcase the power of the system. The phosphorous just ignites the FAE chemicals.

Scandavian States: Actually the MOAB isn't an FAE/thermobaric weapon, it's warhead is made up of Tritonal.

FAEs have a number of issues particularly in terms of reliability (the russians have had soem problems with incomplete air mixing which leads to just big fireballs as opposed to proper blast waves and the US marines have been having issues with them too).

For delaing with fortificatiosn they are great and they are semi sueful for mine clearance but they don't make brilliant open feild weapons.
personally i would go with rapid fire mortars loaded with fleteche/incendiary rounds.

OOC: That is incorrect, I just checked the About site for info and it says that is indeed a Thermobaric bomb meant to replace the Daisy Cutter.
