The Mikey Mk 1 Light APC is designed to be a cheap, mobile, air-droppable and well protected vehicle that can transport 12 fully loaded infantrymen to the battlefield and support them there. There are Mikeys that have the Javelin missile system or a TOW missile system. The gunner has access to the gun pod through a armored door that allows quick reloading and fixing.

The Mikey's armor is made up of a extremely light composite that provides excellent protection from HEAT rounds. In the center of the armor package is a mini-MEXAS reactive armor that can protect from a RPG-7 round. On the side and flanks of the Mikey are rails that make HEAT rounds detonate on them before hitting the Mikey, The frontal armor protects against 30mm slugs while the side armor protecting from 15.5mm.
Mobility
The Mikey's weight is 9 tons and is powered by a 500 horsepower hydrogen turbine. This gives the Mikey a top speed of over 60 miles per hour. The suspension system on the Mikey gives it great cross country ability and high road speed. The tracks on the Mikey are special composite band tracks. The Mikey is C-130 transportable and air-droppable.
