Communist Likon
19-01-2004, 12:01
In a recent bid to promote cultured lifestyle, every Friday night in Communist Likon television networks are banned. The trade of theatres and clubs has increased. And so naturally has the amount of amateur and profesional Actors, musicians, singers, and becomming increasingly popular Poets.
With Government sponsorship the Council of the Arts is holding the first annual poetry competition, where international poets are invited to come and compete. Whilst it is more a social gathering to meet fellow poets and enjoy poetry itself, the prize will be a solid gold fountain pen, estimated value being CSSD1million.
All poets who enter will have free accomodation within the Communist Likon capital of Danube where the competition is to be held, and if flying by Likon Airways, the fare shall also be free.
We hope many amateur poets out there will compete and revel in an almost forgotten art. If you are interested, just post an application.
