As of 12:00 today an area 100KM x 120KM in the north of Kravoli will become a No-Fly zone for all aircraft execpt aircraft from the Kravoli Air-force and coastal patrol.

*Shows map CLEARLY indicating no-fly zone.

All aircraft approaching the area will be warned that they are close to a no-fly zone and will be given ample time to turn around if they do enter.


No reason was given for the establishment of the no-fly zone but the zone is around an old military facility that has had a recent renovation and massive scale improvement. Some speculate it was sopmething to do with the newly established KMI.

Two sonic booms are heard on the ground where the "old military facility" is as a SR-71 Blackbird jets by, CLEARLY through the No-Fly zone for an unknown reason.

OOC: Why would 1 plane make 2 sonic booms?

The SR-71 is quickly shot down by recenlty installed SAM sites. The peices of the plane are then melted down and used to make other more productive things eg cans.

The SR-71 was going two times faster than the speed of sound, 0.4 mach faster than a sam installation. As for the SR-71 flying over, it was coming back from a Secret Operations mission, not flashing camaras.

OOC: Your supposed to say what kind of SAM you are using, there are a lot that are not going to shoot down an SR-71. AFAIK, an SR-71 cannot push Mach 29, and a sonic boom only happens when you break the sound barrier the first time.
