In an amazing take of events, the United Socialist States of Nodea Rudav has unveiled a new Cybernetic Android, sentient in a robotic sense, that will be used as a Protector to the People against the ongoing threat of invasion, terrorism, or any other hostile actions towards The People of Nodea Rudav.

The ED-200 is an Enforcer class Droid whose soul mission is to both Serve and Protect the People of Nodea Rudav. Its enforcement abilities are entirely dedicated to both peaceful duties, such as assisting someone in need, and defense duties, such as capturing or eliminating threats to both The People and Nodea Rudav itself.

However, with the gift of existance was given the gift of sentience. Intern, this ED-200 has become quite the personality. Stern, yet asking questions only when acceptable, ED-200 might still be learning, but he seems to have the information to do is job correctly. Here are some question-and-answers asked by a employee of the facility:

-Employee: Hey, I know you! Your that machine them scientists are workin' on!
-ED-200: Affirmative.
-Employee: Yea, that's scientist talk, alright. So, Mr....What is your name, anyway?
-ED-200: My designation is Enforcer Droid Two-Hundred, or ED TWO HUNDRED in classification terms.
-Employee: Yea....ED...Well, Mr. Ed, you know your name sounds more like that Horse?
-ED-200: Negative, I am not biological, nor a "Horse." I am a Robotic Defense Enforcement Droid, ED TWO-HUNDRED.
-Employee: Robot, Right, but you still sound like that Mr. Ed horse. He talk you know.
-ED-200: Illogical, a horse hasn't the correct biological vocal cords to initate sentient speech.
-Employee: So it must be true they used a small string to make him talk! Wow, you're smart there Mr. Ed! Been wonderin' bout' that for years now, thanks for the answer to that mysteroy. Now, excuse me while I go tell George and Frank the news!
-ED-200: You are welcome, strange human.....

This image was taken by another passer-by as ED-200 stood outside the building and viewed the night sky. It is said that since ED-200 has a "sentient mind", so-to-speak, he somehow feels the same feelings humans do. This was proved when ED-200 was asked directly why he was looking at the stars the night before. He replied in a robotic voice, "The twinkling of the vast light bulbs cought my attention," he said, "They need repairs."

ED-200 is actually one of a kind, to just remind, and this current built model is the First of the D-200 series of Droids of Sentience.

However, the ED-200 is the only one of his kind, and if anyone asks to have one built it will be classified ED-201, ED-202, ED-203, and so on. The ED-200 series is sentient in that it wonder's, looks for answers, ask's questions, and all the other things one would ask if he only knew what was programed into him and WANTED to know just a bit more about the people whom he protects and their enviroment around them.

A humanoid machine with no lower body attached to a desk bows as the transmission begins.

"While some in the Holy Empire believe your project to be encroaching on what they believe to be 'our' territory, we wish to offer any support you may require with AI aspects of this project, as your purpose is just."

"After all... what would Humans know about AIs?"

The diplomatic AI is whacked soundly over the head with a pipe by a Human in power armor without a helmet. "You were told not to endanger relations by bashing the Nations of Man's AI abilities. You already know we're better. Why rub it in."

"Ignorant fleshbags!" The AI yells, grabbing the pipe from the Human as he starts to swing again. With some effort, the AI bends the pipe into a U shape, rendering it useless for the purpose of hitting people. "HA!"

The Human just holds up another pipe. "'Ha' yourself." Several whacks later, the AI appears to be unconscious. "Our offer still stands, minus the part about Humans not understanding AIs..." He smiles, then disengages the transmission.

ED-200 appears with the Chief Socialist President at his side.

ED-200 has an intrest in these robots whom are in your nation. However, ED-200 has expressed displeasure in the fact of such actions done upon the robot whom has only used his rights of speech in honesty, or dishonesty, to express opinions. ED-200 also realizes that your nation may have different laws, however, ED-200 wishes that, if you do accept, robots of you nation meet with him so as to explain their functions and abilities of AI, so he can understand the biological entities known as Humans better in an attempt to defend them more effectivley.

ED-200 is a robot capable of Emotion, if not already stated in some manner, and is capable of detecting and assisting in human emotional, mental, and physical problems to better serve The People.

The ED-200 is capable of being equiped with "arms" that have three-fingered "hands" for assisting in any such problem or situation which calls for it.

I will allow anyone to purchase the stock of offlined ED-200 series. You will be told which number you will get.

The Human smiles as the transmission resumes. "Oh, our AI population has all the same rights as our biological population, it's just this one is a government worker. And the government uses negative reinforcement and corporal punishment on its diplomats when they misbehave. Savage AI decision, really..." Several humanoid robots step behind the Human, who gulps. "You're here about my previous comments about AIs only being good for Human crapjobs, aren't you?"

"No, actually, we are here about your requests that Her Holiness, Adjutant... 'Take it all off.' General Axis, a HUMAN mind you, ordered us to intimidate you. But now that you mention it..."

"Darn it..."

The visual part of the feed cuts out, and yelps of pain accompanied by the sounds of a beating are heard. The feed resumes, with the Human nowhere to be seen. The only Machine left on screen standing nods. "We would be happy to send some AIs to speak with you. Please transmit a date and time." The Machine gives a V-for-Victory sign and waves goodbye as the transmission ends.

Transmission is replied this time by ED-200 himself, with the robotic voice that he has:

Date and Time will be whenever is convient for the Sentient Robotic Intelligence Droid from your nation arrives at the nation of Nodea Rudav. Please log in memory that the Chief Socialist President, the origional being whom did my blueprints for my Sentient AI CPU, will be always by my side in these negotiations of Information, Technology, and Advancement of relations between two Sentient Robotic Beings, if not more Biological Humans.

IG- We here at Crossroads Inc Value AI and it's use, But in terms of war and the ability to take anothers life. As such, your product we be more apealling to us if a Subsiquent modle can be furnished to be under Direct Human control as opposied to the mind of a Computer.

It is under DIRECT HUMAN CONTROL, only given the gift of Sentience to be able to learn and understand better. It is a Protector of The People, and to its design and production went to the saftey of The People. It has been told and has accepted this, yet knows it is free as a Citizen of Nodea Rudav, yet has a job to protect all of The People.

A regal-looking humanoid robot wearing a cloak with no hood stands in view on a transmission screen.

"Greetings," The regal-looking one says, bowing. "I am General X1, co-commander of Mekanta's military. I appologize, but T3K , or 'Tech' as everyone calls him, is unable to attend due to... circumstances..."

A human male wearing a military General's uniform, carrying a sack of robot parts, walks by, some kind of red conductive fluid dripping out of the bottom. "That'll teach him to try to test out his 'Gropemaster 69' avatar on my sister..." He mutters, dropping the bag and whacking it repeatedly with a long pipe before dragging it off.

"I really do not appreciate this... I said I'm sorry... This is rather uncomfortable... Can you at least give my pieces back to my central core...? Look, I didn't know it was Her Holiness..." A voice says from inside the bag, silenced when the human 'accidently' hits it against a wall.

X1 turns around. "Hey! You're getting conductive fluids all over the floor! I'm not going to help you with hits against the R&D division's 'toys' if you don't clean up your messes!" He turns back to the screen, shrugging. "Okay, that's normal around here. Not as much for government negative reinforcement, but because T3K is a little jerk."

"I heard that!" The voice inside the bag says, yelping as the bag is set down again. "This is just pent up agression about the delays on those new rifles, isn't it?"

X1 ignores them. "Well... do you have any questions?"
