"Thank-you for joining us, gentlemen."
General Smith of the weapons development programme smiled to the assembled dignitaries and representatives stood in the large warehouse of Fox Miliatary Technologies.
"As you are aware, we are here today to witness some of the innovations by Fox Miliatary Technologies, innovations which are likely to improve both the effectiveness of your land forces, and the profitability of your arms exports.
"The five products whose designs are on offer today are as follows."
He waved a hand at a soldier who marched towards the centre of the room carrying a sleek, silver rifle.

"Firstly, the A12. A bullpup assault rifle designed around the standard NATO 5.56mm round. The A12 features an ultra-lightweight frame, thanks to the tungsten-alloy frame and kevlar-epoxy body. The A12 also features a modular front handle allowing a 20mm grenade launcher, a tactical illuminator or a 12 gauge shotgun to be fitted internally."
The general then indicated that the reprasentatives follow him to a makeshift sniper-nest where a two man team were assembling a 2m long rifle and fitting it to a tripod.

"This is the AMR Alpha, the completion of the research started by Steyr-Mannlicher. It fires a fin-stabilised dart from a discarding sabot shell. With a muzle velocity of 1400 m/s and a killing range of 2000m, this is probably one of the most powerful rifles created and can penetrate 40mm of hardened plate steel. The rifle is breach loaded and is opperated by a two-man team, as you can see."
Behind the AMR team, there stood what looked like a large gatling cannon on a mechanised turntable. As soon as he saw some of the delegates looking at it, the General pointed it out to the rest and introduced it.

"This is the MG8 40mm grenade launcher. A completely new electronically controlled system to partially automate defensive grenade fire. The MG8 is capable of automatic fire at 120 rounds per minute. Alternatively, it can fire all six barrels in a single salvo. The aiming and trajectory-calculations are all automation. The opperator only needs to designate targets or enter co-ordinates and and an impact pattern."
"Doing so is one of the combat tasks hugely simplified by this:"

The CPC, or Combat Personal Computer, is a device worn on the inside fothe left forearm, so that it can be seen whilst opperating a rifle. It's rugged case contains a GPS unit, a radio tranceiver and a small computer optimised to simplify battlefeild tasks. The unit can display navigational information, objective status and important information to keep soldiers at their most effective level."
"Finally, I'd like to present to you with our technician's efforts int he feild of covert and conceilable weaponry. The Nano-Shotgun."
http://venus.walagata.com/w/paradoxial/shotgun.jpg
"Unlike it's name suggests, the Nano-Shotgun fires a standard 12 guage shotgun round. It's ultra-compact design allows it to be easily conceiled yet it's safe and reliable mechanism means that it can be relied upon by opperatives. Although some disasembly is required to reload it, it's possible to fire and reload within 6 seconds."
"As you know, Fox Miliatary Technologies is not producing these weapons for export. We are, of course, willing to sell diagrams, procedures and machinery capable of creating them. All sales of designs are accompanied by the agreemend that Dead Fox is granted 1.5% of the value of each weapon built.
The prices are as follows:
A12 GBP 90m
AMR Alpha GBP 190m
MG8 GBP 200m
CPC GBP 120m
Nano-Shotgun GBP 400k
