The Joint Defense League
as a note on my experience, i am a resurrected nation
If anybody would like to make a forum for this alliance, please do, as i have no idea how.
any tech level is accepted.
any age of nation is accepted.
this alliance is anti-GDODAD
Arribastan has final say in who may enter
if you are a godmodder, don't bother applying.

The rules of the joint defense league are these:
Article I: all members must come to the aid of any member nation in a war on their soil or seas
Article II: no member is in any way restricted from attacking other nations.
Article III: any member may, if they wish, help a fellow member in a war on enemy soil or seas.
Article IV: any member who finds an unreasonable fight against any nation (member or not) shall report to other members.
Article V: members may declare war on each other, but if this is the case, then the alliance does not become involved.
Article VI: All members will have equal say, except in allowing naitons, where Arribastan will take advice.
Article VII: All descisions of war will be made by a council of all member nations, but Arribastan is the tiebreaker, counting as either 1 or 2 votes, depending on turnout. (if an even number, then i'll be one, if an odd number, i'll be 2)

Attacking the GDODAD is suicide unless you have at least 10-20 nations in it. I might join if you remove this line.

i wish though, that anti-GDODAD alliances wouldn't be formed. I mean, I'm not nearly as dedicated to GDODAD as AMF and TST, and honestly, I don't even know what took place when GDODAD was destroyed a while back because I wasn't even a nation. I do wish to join your alliance, but it seems that my ties are preventing that..... I wish there was some other way.

If you could, would you mind defining "Godmodder" for the sake of this league?

My nation's concept, from the very beginning, has been that a third of the nation's population is raised from early childhood within the military. (This was before I understood that such things were universally dismissed as impossible.) I drew my concept from Plato's Republic, FYI.

To balance out, my soldiers are armed with the equivalent of AK-47s and Glock pistols and nothing else, despite my attempts to remedy the situation by taking advantage of storefronts with my very slim discretionary budget. Roughly 1.5 million are tied up in military-devoted agriculture and supply chains.

Now, due to the unusual circumstances of my nation's military, am I barred from the league? Or have I put sufficient thought and made sufficient sacrifices to justify my nation's less-than-normal military situation?

you are accepted. your men, i suppose, have only rudimentary training. i suppose you could keep your military the same size until you grew so that expasion would be feasable, thus allowing you to not change your history, but train fewer and fewer men per year. at the current time, we have not expanded our military for quite some time, even though our population has gone up by 1/4.
you are completely acceptable, at least to me, and that is what counts. :D
