Cayo is under threat of attack from the Imperialistic and aggressive nation of Elizabethshire.

We made a perfectly reasonable and open request to expand our defensive nuclear arsenal. Is it so unreasonable to wish to strengthen our defence?

Elizabethshire has responded with undue aggression. My government has never broken international Law, human rights are better than ever, and we have for months officially recognised the soverignty of the disputed Samos Island.

Why then this act of aggression? Whatever the imperialistic reasons we can and will defend ourselves, as is our right.

I call on nations to support us! We are in the right here, all we want to do is to be allowed to defend our soverignty.

How can you logically have a nuclear arsneal, a single nuke or a couple nukes is logical, but an aresenal is a bit large.

OOC: nukes depending on there delivery system can cost under 100 thousand dollars to maintain a year. Gravity bombs are a prime example.

Cayo, after reviewing the facts of you versus your aggressor I will defend you from an assualt with a limited amount of forces, somewhere around 150,000 will be deployed to help with a cost of around 8.9-13 Million in expenses of arming, moving, and suppling them.

Cayo, just assume that my forces are ready to assist you right now, for I need to off-line, you have the ability to place them in your stategic position, but not to be used to invade, about 1/3 of Forces are Naval/Aireal.

Elizibithshires blatant aggression is not to be tolerated, DGNT has begun mobilization, since its two other wars seem to have died.
Almost half a million troops can be seen preparing to leave DGNT, also noted is the increased activity around nuclear, biological and chemical weapons facilities.
As yet, DGNT has not used its (many) weapons of mass destruction, if Elizibithshire should choose to use them, we will respond in kind.

Corneliu pledges support for Cayo. Elizabethshire has no right to attack without provocation. You have full right to have nuclear arms. There for, as soon as we are done mopping up in another war, we will pledge whatever is needed to your defense. Be advised however that our forces are tired and are stretched but we will do what is necessary to assist in this war.

As a nation who stood up against the Babooska Government of Cayo, and subsequently made amends with the Perez Government of Cayo, we have ridden both sides of the line with Cayo Island. However, although we approve of nuclear disarmament, under the circumstances, we will not support Elizbethshire. Neither will we support Cayo Island. We wish to tread a neutral path in this conflict.

Consequently, Falastur would like to ask Elizabethshire and Cayo Island to resolve their differences, and seek a peaceful solution. We will gladly oversee the peace talks if both sides agree to this solution.
