As the nation's largest air craft carrier, the 80,000 ton Marcellus left Germanicus Harbour for sea trials late last night, several members of the greenleaf activist organisation attempted to scale the vessel in a sign of protest against current military expansion plans.

The activists were quickly arrested and shot under the recent Benician Enabling Act which considers such behaviour as a treasonable offense.

An official statement has yet to be made, but is expected sometime later today.

Communist Louisiana's national newspaper"Pravada" has announced the following.

Benicius's new aircraft carrier the "Marcellus" has been sunk 4 miles off the cost by the "Foster" a Los Angeles Class Submarine belonging to Louisiana after being spoted by a naval MiG-29 45 minutes earlier on a patrol. 200 of the aircraft carriers crew were picked up by a Confederate States ship. They are being transported back to Louisiana as they are now P.O.W's. All other crew men are now either Missing and/or dead.

The Empire of Benicius will not stand for eco terrorism or any other form of treason. Let it be known to those who would harm the people of this nation that you will be hunted down and shot under the laws of the empire.

We are pleased to inform that the Marcellus is conducting its trials without further complications and shall return to Germanicus within the next day before being resupplied and beginning its first tour of duty.
