A new style of combat uniforms have been issued to all branches of the armed services. As part of the issuing of new fatigues, all Air Force, Navy, and Reserve/House personel will use a new pattern while Army and Marine personel will use their present pattern in the new style.

The armour plates will be covered with cloth matching the pattern, this was an early prototype pic.

This pic is meant to show the modularity of the system.

Sorry, but I'm not going to sell a 3rd Generation digital camo system to two nations I don't even know, much less trust.

How long does it take to put the whole set on?
Scandavian States
16-01-2004, 21:13
It doesn't take any longer to put on than anything out there, and probably less than most.

My soldiers know that, the men in the photos are civilians and were just showing off the new boots (which are leather, not suede).

They were? I thought they took the time to pull the pants over the tops of the boots.

Yes, the "models" were. Our troops do take the time to pull the pants over the boots, mainly because it is the first step in NBC protection.

Would the Scandinavian States consider on selling this "marvelous" equipment to a member of the Legion of Defence (http://www.freewebs.com/legion_of_defence/). We are a protectorate who is starting to build up its armed forces.

OOC:
I'm saying this since you reffused service to nations you didn't know, maybe you should start knowing more nations... hehe... I know you are a veteran here but times are changing

Bariloche, we know some of the senior members of the LoD, I'm sure something can be arranged.

Sniper Country, it doesn't get as hot as you would think, the system itself is pretty light and breathable, so there's a lot of air circulating under that.

OOC: This is actually the first stage of the US Army Future Combat System. A guy who's in the know posts on the boards of a military outfitter that I visit and he says that while there's room for improvement in the design, it's still a leap forward compared to the BDUs of now.

If that is the case, then the ECB (Ejército de la Comunitdad de Bariloche - Community of Bariloche Army) would be interested in buying 750,000 of this suits, if the price is right of course... we have lots of manufacture and purchases to make.

750,000 suits is quite a bit and well outside of our present production capacity to fulfill the order in a timely manner. At present we could produce that many suits in about a eight years if we hurry. Cost per suit would be 700 USD. Given that, I think it would be wise if you would order enough for your SpecOps or any other front-line infantry unit likely to see a lot of combat in a war.

The Region/Nations of the Federated Suns...A Proud member of A.R.M wishes to purchase enough of these Uniforms to outfit our Military...We also wish to inquire on production rights for our own in house stocks??

Currently looking for about 200k to start...
$140,000,000 to wired upon confirmation

Of course... this is the President speaking now, I don't know what that General was thinking, I'll put him to wash the floors next time he does that.

I believe our Special Forces could use about 10,000 and our expeditionary forces will have to stay happy with... lets say... 30,000 suits. I think that's about a half year production time.

28,000,000 USD wired, suits espected in six to seven months?

OOC:
I have a 62 million population and a Good economy. Using a GDP calc and a 7% budget for the military I have about 574,963,200,000 USD a year, is that off-the-chart and should look for another calculator? Which one do you recomend?

Verboten Lufftewaffe, are you part of the LoD? If so, then you order is confirmed. If not, then I'm afraid I will have to decline your order. As for production rights, I would prefer you make all orders through me.

I'm the head of the Ground Command for the LoD... Perhaps we could work out a deal regarding the purchase of these suits. Maybe even make them standard issue for LoD members. I shall consult the other senior members...

If you intend to make it standard equipment for the LoD, then I would allow some factories to be built within LoD nations. Phyrric is my main link into the LoD, so I would like it if he could manage the building and distrobution projects.
17-01-2004, 04:31
We are protected by the LoD and although we may not be a full fledged protector yet, we would be extremely interested in something to aid in keeping the peace among our own citizens and war torn regions all over. I would be willing to help whether it be with funds or manpower.

Thank you for the offer Lorai, but we have a 2 Trillion USD defense budget, we can handle the costs of the construction and logistics.

Are you selling?

If you were, we would buy 2,000 for Spec Ops and maybe more for Airborne :)

Kazakhstania, I'm selling to people I know and trust. I'll allow you to buy the 2,000 units since I have no reason to suspect that you're hostile towards me.

The LAO would like to purchase 1,000 of the body armor systems. We are a part of the LoD and even created the League of Saviors branch.

Norse Lands: Depends on what you're looking for, we had five different patterns for five different branches.

Kazakhstania: Perhaps, I'd like to see what you are willing to trade.
